About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

HELLO AGAIN, KIND STRANGER!!

>> WELCOME TO DESIR〇.

A SMALL, RELAXED GAME ABOUT NETWORKS, MOVEMENT, AND PUTTING LITTLE CIRCLES IN PLACES.

>> AGENTS DO NOT JUST USE YOUR NETWORK. THEY SHAPE IT. DESIRE PATHS EMERGE FROM REPETITION, TURNING MOVEMENT INTO INFRASTRUCTURE.

BUILD A NETWORK. WATCH TINY COMMUTERS USE IT. NOTICE THEY HAVE OTHER IDEAS.

THEIR JOURNEYS LEAVE DESIRE PATHS BEHIND. BUSY ROUTES GROW STRONGER. QUIET ONES FADE. YOUR LITTLE SYSTEM SLOWLY BECOMES SOMETHING YOU DIDN’T QUITE DESIGN.

>> THIS IS PROBABLY FINE.

EXPAND THROUGH FIVE RINGS. SPEND CAREFULLY. ADD REDUNDANCY. FIND BOTTLENECKS. MAKE NEW BOTTLENECKS WHILE FIXING THE OLD ONES.

>> BUILD. >> OBSERVE. >> ADAPT. >> TRY AGAIN.

THERE IS NO PERFECT NETWORK.

JUST YOUR NETWORK.

KEEP IT MOVING FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN. WATCH IT GROW. WATCH IT STRUGGLE. MAYBE LEARN SOMETHING PROFOUND ABOUT THE NATURE OF DESIRE.

OR JUST MAKE A NICE LOOKING ONE.

>> BOTH ARE ACCEPTABLE.

CHILL TUNES & NICE NOISES BY VOYAGER ◯∘.

BEST OF LUCK OUT THERE, STRANGER...

>> DESIR〇. OVER AND OUT.
