About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

In Probability Workshop, you're not the one buying tickets — you're the one writing the rules.

Design a lottery from scratch and run it for 60 draws. Choose how numbers are picked, set the ticket price, define the prize tiers, and decide how the money is split. Then watch your choices ripple outward through sales charts, your retailers' ledgers, and the life stories of the people who play.

This is a management simulation about probability, money, and human nature. You can't force anyone to buy a ticket — you can only design the rules, then watch as one customer might strike it rich while another sinks deeper with every near miss.

What's in the demo

A complete 60-draw business cycle — launch a lottery and guide it from its very first draw to its final verdict, for better or worse

Full control over number rules — pool size, how many numbers to pick, and how wins are decided: craft your own way to play

Pricing and prize structure — tune ticket prices, prize tiers, winning conditions, and payouts to balance mass appeal against solvency

Fund allocation — allocate each draw's revenue among the prize pool, retailer commissions, public welfare, and your profit, while statutory tax is calculated automatically. Every choice has a cost

Watch the black box work — sales rise and fall with your rules, retailers join or withdraw as market prospects and actual returns shift, and individual players' lives diverge depending on who wins — and who doesn't

A final run summary — after the 60th draw, review your total profit, customer reach, bankruptcies and new fortunes, along with the city ledger recording the consequences of your rules

The demo is a complete, self-contained experience: one lottery, 60 draws.

The full game will add

Multiple lotteries running simultaneously — balance risk and compete for players across different designs

Longer-term progression, with new milestones and unexpected turns

Deeper management mechanics and more narrative events

You write the rules. Probability doesn't lie. After 60 draws, what kind of rule-maker will you be?
