Synopsis
You see a child lying on the floor. …The child feels the cold of the floor. Looking around: an old hall that looks like it could grow mold. And all around, adults who seem somehow… familiar, lying face-down like corpses.
The child remembers only one thing: a name. Who is… [Me]? And why here, in this desolate place, and not at home?
To the child, whose memory is a blur, a crackling speaker gives orders. Should the orders be carried out? Are you a good child?
Pick up a weapon, touch the wallpaper, scribble on things. See what cannot be seen, and recall memories you never had.
All of it was done by you. — Or was it?
What Makes This Game Special
Horror you read — A psychological horror sound novel. Not the jump-scare kind, but the kind that turns cold on you a beat after you've read it. Your imagination completes the scenes.
Look around, then choose — Point-and-click. Click to examine. Anything you can examine or choose glows at the edges, so it's easy to see what to look at next.
Easy on the hands — Mouse, keyboard, and controller supported, with custom key binding. Three text speeds (normal, 2x, instant) plus hold-to-fast-forward, auto-advance, adjustable text size, and a log of past dialogue. There's a screen-flash off option, sound effect captions , an adjustable dialogue box background opacity , and separate master, music, and sound effect volume sliders, too. Autosave is supported. For manual saves, use the slots.
See everything you've built up, any time — Every ending you reach stays in the gallery. A table of contents lets you jump straight to it, and the slots for endings you haven't seen yet are always visible too.
Art style — A paper-cutout storybook style blended with soft cel-shaded watercolor to add detail to the world. Where you click, explore, and want to touch, the cutout storybook style comes forward; where you're meant to watch, pass through, and sink in, the soft cel-shaded watercolor takes over for deeper immersion.
33 bad endings — We love collectibles, so we built plenty of side paths for collecting endings. Some are anticlimactic, some absurd, some a little chilling… explore everywhere and see for yourself. Achievements too, of course!
Built for multiple playthroughs — Uncover the truth of the story.
An original story — Based on an original story that grew out of the creator's own dream, most of the text was written and revised by hand. Enjoy a story of about 38,000 Korean characters. And look forward to what comes next! We'd love to tell you more stories.
