About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Thirty tracks. Two and a half hours. One grid.

This is the score from Synapse Grid, sequenced in the order that makes sense to listen to rather than the order the game happens to call them in.

It opens where the game does: the boot menu, the garage, the quiet minute before a run when the only sound is a bike idling. From there it moves out onto the open grid - cruising tempos, wide pads, the long sightlines of a city you are not being chased through yet.

Then the pressure block. Void Sink Alarm, Well Depth Warning, Dead Sector: the tracks that play when the arena is closing and your own amber wall is thirty seconds from becoming the thing that kills you. They are slower than you expect. That is deliberate.

The last third is the chase. Hunter Lock through Boss Redline climbs from 129 to 142 BPM without a break, because that is what the endgame feels like - no boost button, no way to go faster except to tuck in behind a rider who is actively laying wall in front of you.

It resolves on Victory Ascent and closes on Endless Afterparty.

Format

30 tracks, 320 kbps MP3, 2 hours 30 minutes. Plays in the Steam client's own music player, or download the files and take them anywhere.
