Minesweeper without the edges.
The board is not a grid you finish. It is a plane that keeps going in every direction, and it already exists before you look at it: mines are generated from a seed, so the world is a function rather than a file. The only thing your save holds is what you changed.
ZONES, NOT GAME OVER
The plane is divided into 8x8 zones, each holding exactly ten mines. You win and lose one zone at a time. Hit a mine and that single zone locks while the rest of your world stays exactly as it was. Wait ten minutes and it restores itself, or spend an unlock ticket if you would rather not wait. There is no run to lose and nothing to start over.
THE NIGHT SKY DECIDES WHERE YOU PLAY
Cells you have never reached are covered by night sky and cannot be clicked at all. The playable frontier grows one cell past whatever you have opened, so an endless board never turns into an endless blank page. That sky is not decoration. The game places an observer from your system clock and language, then draws sixteen constellations and the first-magnitude stars where they actually are right now. No location permission, no network.
COLLECT THE MAP
Sixty-four cleared zones complete an area, and every completed area hands you the artwork underneath it for your gallery. Six themes run across the world: a village through its four seasons, the deep sea, desert, forest ruins, sky islands and open space, arranged so that neighbouring areas never repeat.
ONE DAILY BOARD, THE SAME ONE FOR EVERYONE
A single generated zone each day on UTC, identical worldwide. Clear it to keep your streak and to earn the hints and unlock tickets that keep you moving.
HEXAGONS
A separate mode on a six-neighbour grid, with its own progress and its own achievements. The same rules, a different set of instincts.
NO ADS, NO PURCHASES, NO TIMER YOU CANNOT OUTWAIT
Hints and unlock tickets come from playing: clearing zones, finishing the daily, completing areas. That is the entire economy. You buy the game once and nothing inside it asks you for anything again.
BUILT TO SIT OPEN ON YOUR DESKTOP
Idle load is close to nothing, the whole screen draws in a handful of instanced calls, and it targets integrated graphics from 2012 onward. Fully offline, with Steam Cloud saves, 15 achievements and 13 languages.
New - Added a Quit button to the bottom-right corner of the title screen. It closes the game right away, and your progress is saved automatically.
Read full update on Steam ↗Update 1.0.6FixesFixed a cell surrounded entirely by mines staying hidden and blocking its zone from being completed. Once all surrounding mines are flagged, the cell is now resolved automatically. Players already affected are unblocked when they load their game.
Read full update on Steam ↗World boundary lines - World boundaries (8x8 areas = 512 cells) are now drawn as magenta lines, alongside the existing zone (yellow) and area (blue) lines. - The line is 4x the zone line and 2x the area line in thickness, drawn on top of the area line. - Only worlds that contain explored cells get a line, so nothing is drawn ahead of exploration. - In Hexagon mode the line follows the hex cell outline. - Performance: only the line segments on screen are drawn, and the boundary is skipped entirely while the view is inside a world. Hex outlines now walk only the perimeter cells instead of the whole block. - Verification: 214 tests pass, release build succeeds, and an independent code review found no critical issues.
Read full update on Steam ↗Improvements - Background art now loads in the background, starting from the center of the screen. Zooming out no longer stutters or fills in line by line. A preview appears right away and sharpens as the full art arrives. - Collected areas now hide their flags so the whole artwork shows. Flags on the area border stay, semi-transparent, because neighboring numbers still count them. - Daily Challenge: the board starts with the center cell already open, and the 3x3 around it is always mine-free. Everyone still plays the same board. - Daily Challenge: after you finish today's challenge, the button shows a check mark and opens your time and rank instead of restarting the board. Fixes - Fixed cells not responding for a moment after completing a zone. You can keep opening, chording and flagging while the clear effect plays. - Fixed the Daily Challenge becoming available again after switchin...
Read full update on Steam ↗■ Right-click to flag Settings → Flag input now offers 'Hold 0.2s' or 'Right-click'. Hold stays the default, so nothing changes unless you switch. In right-click mode, holding does nothing. ■ See where you went wrong When a zone you blew up comes back, the mine you hit stays faintly visible and the numbers around it pulse yellow. Works the same whether the zone recovered on its own or you spent an unlock ticket. It clears as soon as you open a cell or place a flag in that zone. ■ Use hints all at once Two new buttons in the hint popup: · Use all — opens one safe cell per hint you hold · Trade for unlock tickets — 10 hints become 1 ticket
