About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Minesweeper without the edges.

The board is not a grid you finish. It is a plane that keeps going in every direction, and it already exists before you look at it: mines are generated from a seed, so the world is a function rather than a file. The only thing your save holds is what you changed.

ZONES, NOT GAME OVER

The plane is divided into 8x8 zones, each holding exactly ten mines. You win and lose one zone at a time. Hit a mine and that single zone locks while the rest of your world stays exactly as it was. Wait ten minutes and it restores itself, or spend an unlock ticket if you would rather not wait. There is no run to lose and nothing to start over.

THE NIGHT SKY DECIDES WHERE YOU PLAY

Cells you have never reached are covered by night sky and cannot be clicked at all. The playable frontier grows one cell past whatever you have opened, so an endless board never turns into an endless blank page. That sky is not decoration. The game places an observer from your system clock and language, then draws sixteen constellations and the first-magnitude stars where they actually are right now. No location permission, no network.

COLLECT THE MAP

Sixty-four cleared zones complete an area, and every completed area hands you the artwork underneath it for your gallery. Six themes run across the world: a village through its four seasons, the deep sea, desert, forest ruins, sky islands and open space, arranged so that neighbouring areas never repeat.

ONE DAILY BOARD, THE SAME ONE FOR EVERYONE

A single generated zone each day on UTC, identical worldwide. Clear it to keep your streak and to earn the hints and unlock tickets that keep you moving.

HEXAGONS

A separate mode on a six-neighbour grid, with its own progress and its own achievements. The same rules, a different set of instincts.

NO ADS, NO PURCHASES, NO TIMER YOU CANNOT OUTWAIT

Hints and unlock tickets come from playing: clearing zones, finishing the daily, completing areas. That is the entire economy. You buy the game once and nothing inside it asks you for anything again.

BUILT TO SIT OPEN ON YOUR DESKTOP

Idle load is close to nothing, the whole screen draws in a handful of instanced calls, and it targets integrated graphics from 2012 onward. Fully offline, with Steam Cloud saves, 15 achievements and 13 languages.
