REvolver for Steam
The description, trailers and screenshots supplied by the Steam store.
Description
IMPORTANT — SECONDARY STORAGE REQUIRED
To use REvolver’s Vault, you need an HDD or another separate secondary storage drive with sufficient free space.
The Vault feature cannot be used on a system with only one storage drive. Before purchasing, make sure you have a separate drive with enough space for the games you plan to archive.
Your SSD should hold the games you play now.
REvolver moves inactive Steam games to an HDD Vault, freeing SSD space while keeping the installation locally available.
Unlike reinstalling through Steam, REvolver brings back the same game folder you archived . That means:
No full game redownload
No dependence on internet or download-server conditions
Mods and local changes inside the game folder can return as they were
No need to rebuild a modified installation from scratch
Select a game and press REVOLVE . REvolver handles the transfer, verification, and safe completion.
Main Features
REVOLVE
One action handles both directions: SSD → Vault and Vault → SSD.
Free SSD Space Without Giving Up the Installation
Instead of uninstalling a game, move it to your local HDD Vault and keep it ready for future restoration.
No Redownload Required
Restore directly from your own drives instead of downloading the entire game again through Steam.
Preserve Your Modified Installation
Mods, mod loaders, replaced assets, patches, and other local files stored inside the game folder can return with the archived installation.
Maximum Free Space
Move the complete game folder to the Vault and reclaim as much SSD space as possible.
Faster Return
Keep selected reusable files on the SSD so less data needs to be restored later.
Verified Transfers
REvolver verifies archived data before removing the SSD source and verifies restored data before final placement.

FAQ
Why use REvolver instead of reinstalling? Because reinstalling gives you a fresh download. REvolver restores the installation you already had—locally, without redownloading, including supported mods and local changes inside the game folder.
Does REvolver preserve mods? Files stored inside the game folder, including manually installed mods and local modifications, can be preserved.
Does it back up saves? Only files inside the managed game folder are included. Saves in Documents, AppData, Steam Cloud, or other locations may not be.
Is REvolver a backup tool? No. It is an SSD–HDD game placement manager, not a replacement for an independent backup.
