About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

HOW YOU GOT HERE

You were an auditor. During an inspection you found something in the documents that you were never meant to see, and you made a copy. A few days later you're in prison. There's no sentence and not even a name in your file, only the word ZERO.

PEOPLE DISAPPEAR HERE

Every now and then the lights go out in the block. When they come back on, one of the bunks is empty, and no one ever sees the man who slept there again. You're next on the list.

HOW IT PLAYS

It's a first-person stealth game. You watch the guards, learn when and where they go, and wait for your moment. You switch on a radio or set a cardboard box on fire, and when a guard goes to take a look, you sneak up and knock him out with a baton. You grab him by the legs, drag him into an empty room and lock him in. But not everything can be done quietly. Some missions are about beating someone up, and if you walk into another prisoner's cell, he'll come at you with his fists. You can also pick a fight with any prisoner yourself. Along the way you collect documents that tell you what is really going on in this prison.

CIGARETTES AND COINS

In prison you pay with cigarettes and coins. They buy you information, favors and help from other prisoners. Almost everyone wants something from you. Keep your end of a deal and you gain an ally.

TAKE OVER THE PRISON (FULL GAME)

With each mission you take over another part of the prison. The map shows which areas are already yours. Over time you gather people who will help you find out who is behind the disappearances and get out.

FREE DEMO

The demo lets you play the first two missions, which take about 25 minutes. The full game comes out on November 12, 2026.

FROM THE DEVELOPER

I'm making PROCEDURE ZERO on my own, in Poland. If you play the demo, I'd really like to hear what you think of it.
