SweatyPanzer is a free-to-play multiplayer tank game with fast-paced combat, where positioning and strategic decisions matter. Build up a tank over one life in Arena, or work with your team through a round-based Clash match.
Every other tank is an enemy. Each kill repairs your tank and earns a card draw. Choose an upgrade or swap to a different tank without losing your upgrades. Taking down a heavily upgraded opponent earns better cards.
Stay alive to grow your build. Get destroyed and you respawn with your upgrades reset. Dominate the arena and become a bounty for everyone to hunt.
The map changes every six minutes, but surviving tanks keep their health, upgrades and kills.
You have one life each round. Destroy the other team, or capture the flag when it becomes active later in the round. First to three round wins takes the match.
Between rounds, buy upgrades that last for the match. Improve your firepower, mobility or protection, equip an ability such as smoke, or switch tanks. A loss pays more than a win, giving the losing team a chance to change its approach.
If your tank is destroyed, the game is not over! You can take a machine gun on top of a teammate's tank turret and keep fighting until the next round.
Choose familiar tanks such as the Panzer IV, T-34, Tiger and Pershing, or try something with a different way of fighting. The Luchs is a dangerous flanker with an autocannon, the AMX-13 carries a six-round revolver, and the IS-2 rewards a well-placed shot with heavy damage and a long reload.
Some tanks offer alternative weapons. The KV-7 chooses between twin 76 mm guns and a single 152 mm, while the StuG can swap its 7.5 cm cannon for a 10.5 cm howitzer. The Sherman offers an entire arsenal: 76 mm cannon, a 105 mm howitzer, the QF 17-pounder and a T105 183 mm rocket launcher.
Where you hit matters as much as what you fire. Rear shots do far more damage than frontal hits, angled armour can ricochet shells, and projectiles have travel time and drop. Use cover to close the distance abd find a flank.
Fight across desert, farmland, snow, tropical coast and a ruined city. The terrain changes between matches, so the same map does not give you exactly the same hills, dips and sightlines every time.
The battlefield also changes while you fight. Shells dig craters, trees can be knocked down, and walls, hedgerows and other pieces of cover can be shot apart.
Queue on your own or bring a party of up to four. Bots fill empty places and real players can replace them as they join. They do more than drive toward the nearest enemy: bots share enemy positions, react to flanking attempts, change targets and push together when they have the advantage.
Try tanks in the practice range, or compete on the seasonal ladder from Bronze to Grandmaster. Your current rank is also shown on your tank as gold bands around the barrel.
Play for free and expand your roster as you go. Unlock new tanks along the progression road, build mastery with the ones you use most, earn medals and titles, and customize your tanks with accents, charms and other cosmetics.
SweatyPanzer v2.3.5 is live. Here is what changed. Fixes Fixed a bug where a player moving to another Arena game, as when leaving a rookie game, was sent back to the lobby if the move came during the kill replay or a brief disconnect. AMX-13: Fixed the AMX-13's turret number and national insignia showing on the low collar under the turret overhang instead of on the turret sides. Read the patch notes on the site
Read full update on Steam ↗SweatyPanzer v2.3.4 is live. Here is what changed. Changes Rookie games now play Sirocco only, with no map timer and no map change, and a player can join one at any time. Each player moves on to Normal Arena after 4 minutes in the game instead of at the first map change after 4.5 minutes. Fixes Fixed a bug where a tank could spawn facing water less than 80 m ahead. Fixed freezes of up to 0.4 seconds just after the loading screen lifted. The loading screen now lasts 1 to 4 seconds longer. Fixed a bug where houses on slopes hung above the ground at their downhill corners. Fixed two camera glitches in the Arena arrival view: after joining a game, the view behind the tank showed for about a fifth of a second before the descent began, and some spawns next to cover tipped the view down by up to 60 degrees. Read full update on Steam ↗SweatyPanzer v2.3.3 is live. Here is what changed. Changes Reworked Arena respawns: a tank now arrives frozen while the camera descends to it, with the tank HUD and crosshair hidden until landing, also at the start of each map. Bots arrive the same way. Roof hits near a tank's rear now count as side hits instead of rear hits, for x1.0 damage instead of x3.0. The x2, x3 counter on the kill confirm now counts only kills inside the gun's multi-kill window instead of every kill of the life. In rookie games, the first arrow toward the nearest enemy now appears after 30 seconds without input instead of 10. Fixes Fixed freezes of up to 0.2 seconds when a tank spawned on WebGL2. Fixed a bug where touching the screen on iOS Safari could select text. Fixed a bug where wrecks turned as they landed. Fixed tank names cut off on the RESPAWN WITH cards and the bounty timer covering the header in the...
Read full update on Steam ↗SweatyPanzer v2.3.2 is live. Here is what changed. New Added a FULL SCREEN button to the top right of the loading screen on desktop. It reads EXIT FULL SCREEN while the game is full screen. In rookie games, bots no longer target a player who has given no input for 10 seconds, and an arrow under the reticle points toward the nearest enemy tank until the next input. Changes The break between Arena maps reduced from 30 to 20 seconds. Rookie games now seat a joining player in a game with at least 4 minutes 50 seconds left on the map. When none has, a new rookie game opens, and a game nearer its end is used only when no new one can open. Fixes Fixed a bug where the SEND button on the map rating card between Arena maps stayed greyed out after a star was tapped. The card now shows SENT or NOT SENT, and a failed send offers RETRY. Fixed a bug where a second report sent from the FEEDBACK windo...

Changes Multikill chains now need each kill within the gun's base reload plus 3 seconds, at most 10 seconds, instead of 10 seconds for every tank. Fixes Fixed descriptions that showed wrong numbers: KV-7 reload times, Churchill 95 mm burst size, Sandbags and wading speed. Fixed a bug where felled trees on jungle maps could stretch into long streaks across the screen. Read the patch notes on the site
Read full update on Steam ↗SweatyPanzer v2.3.0 is live. Here is what changed. New Churchill: Added the Churchill, unlocked at level 5: the slowest tank (22 km/h) with the most health (1100) and Side plate tier 3 built in. Churchill: The Churchill carries either the 75 mm Mk V (210 damage, 2.5 s reload) or the 95 mm howitzer (360 damage, 7 m burst, 4.5 s reload). Changes Reworked hit detection: shells now hit the plates of the drawn tank model instead of a set of boxes, so hit zones, slope tilt and hit marks follow the model. Tank fronts now bounce shells beyond 65 degrees instead of 55 (StuG 75, T-34 stays at 55). Turrets now bounce at 65, mantlets at 65 instead of 64, roofs at 80 and turret roofs at 75. Bounced side and turret hits now deal 0.5x damage instead of 0.4x. Added the tracks as a hit zone: hits on the tracks below the tank body deal 0.3x damage, never bounce and leave no hit mark. Turret plate now a...

In-app browsers now show OPEN IN BROWSER or COPY LINK FOR YOUR BROWSER on the start screen. Changes A new player's first Arena game now has 5 bots instead of 7, and that player's first spawn is at least 200 m from every other tank. Bots now aim less accurately at a new player for 60 seconds after the first move in their first Arena game. On connections with 150 ms ping or more, enemy tanks now keep moving through stalls and are drawn up to 100 ms further behind. Fixes Fixed a bug where a Clash pick switched to Arena with no reason shown on phones, or Clash stayed locked after a short first Arena game. Read the patch notes on the site

Fixed HUD layering in Arena: the pause menu behind the card draw, the chat over it, SPECTATING over VICTORY and the kill feed over STANDINGS. Fixed a bug where bots showed a blank MAP KILLS on the MAP RESULT board. Fixed phone layout issues: the lobby and HUD under the notch, CLICK TO RESUME on touch screens and a FULL SCREEN option with no effect on iPhone. Read the patch notes on the site

The 48 HOURS board now shows lives still in progress, updated every 30 seconds. A locked tank card in an Arena draw now shows for 2.7 seconds, up from 0.7, before it is redrawn. Fixes Fixed a bug where floating combat text such as BURN could cover a tank's nickname and markers. Read the patch notes on the site

Added a TANK UNLOCKED notice in Arena and Clash when a level-up unlocks a tank. Changes Arena draws now deal only unlocked tanks. A card for a locked tank shows the level it needs, then is redrawn to an unlocked tank. RESPAWN WITH now offers tanks only: every unlocked tank card dealt on that map, picked or not, plus the default tank. A kept RESPAWN WITH upgrade is cleared at the next Arena map change. RESPAWN WITH now starts on the tank selected in the lobby when that tank is offered. Read the patch notes on the site

Read full update on Steam ↗SweatyPanzer v2.2.13 is live. Here is what changed. New Added RESPAWN WITH to Arena: at the map change, one upgrade or tank from that map can be chosen and is kept on every respawn. Finishing 3 Arena maps, each within 48 hours of the previous one, adds a 4th card to every Arena draw. The kept upgrade or tank and the 4th card last 48 hours after the last finished Arena map, and each finished map restarts the 48 hours. Changes Arena map break changed from up to 25 seconds with READY to a fixed 30 seconds. Arena draws can now be picked within 0.8 seconds, down from up to 2.3 seconds for Legendary cards. Arena bots now match the players present at each map change, from half health and damage for new players to full strength. The bounty is now marked with a red triangle in the Legendary look instead of a gold star, still visible across the map. The leader's smoke column now starts 13 m above the tank, so the leader can see past it. A player joining an Arena game with no other players now starts a fresh map. Keep my tank is now on the T key instead of 4, and turning it on greys out the tank card already in the draw. Updates no longer disconnect Arena players: they move to the new versio...
Read full update on Steam ↗SweatyPanzer v2.0.2 is live. Here is what changed. New In Arena, a gold smoke column rises from the leader once they have 10 kills this life and lead second place by 4. The kill that ends a marked leader's run pays a Legendary draw, and every player sees who ended it. Keep my tank, above the cards in a draw (or key 4), stops tank cards for the rest of that life. Changes Arena tank cards can now be another tank of the same tier, such as a Panther for a Tiger. A player in a tier 3 tank can now be offered another tier 3 tank in any draw, and still gets draws once every upgrade is full. Distance fog now starts at 500 m on every graphics setting instead of about 200 m, so tanks across the map stay clear. Fixes Tiger: Fixed a bug where the Tiger's muzzle brake looked square instead of round. Read the patch notes on the site
Read full update on Steam ↗SweatyPanzer v2.0.1 is live. Here is what changed. Changes The automatic draw pick after 30 s no longer takes a tank card. A draw holding only tank cards closes with no pick. (Nerf): Ready rack now refunds 20, 40 or 60% of the reload on a kill, down from 25, 50 or 100%. (Nerf): A bounty's kills now repair 25% of max health, like any other kill, instead of a full repair. Read the patch notes on the site
Read full update on Steam ↗SweatyPanzer v2.0.0 is live. Here is what changed. New Added Arena, a free-for-all for 8 tanks, bots included, with endless respawns and a new map every 4 minutes. In Arena, every kill offers a draw of 3 cards: an upgrade or a better tank. The draw is picked for the player after 30 s. Draw rarity follows the victim: 0 to 2 picks this life deals Common, 3 to 5 Rare, 6 to 9 Epic, 10 or more Legendary. Luck can raise a draw by one or more rarities; a Common floor reaches Legendary 5% of the time. Common and Rare upgrade cards add 2 levels, Epic and Legendary cards add 3. Rarer draws also deal heavier tanks. A Legendary draw lets the player keep 2 of its 3 cards. Each draw holds one ability card until a player holds an ability. A tank card left alone is dealt less often for 3 draws. Each kill in Arena repairs 25% of the killer's max health. Field repair uses the same limit as in Clash. A...

Sherman: Added the QF 17-pounder to the Sherman: 260 damage, a 3.8 s reload and a 0.35 s shot delay. It now has four guns. Destroyed tanks now leave solid wrecks that stop shells and tanks, and a tank driven into one pushes it. Gun tables now show Burn, Precision error and Shot delay rows. Rebuilt the Panther as the Ausf. D and remodelled the Tiger turret and the StuG guns. Changes Splash now falls off in a straight line from the blast and is scaled by the face it lands beside: 0.6 front, 1.0 side, 1.5 rear. Splash damage is capped at what a direct hit on that face pays, and walls now stop a blast. A shell that hits a tank no longer makes a blast; only hits on the ground and the world do. Gun, Return fire and Gallop bo...

The roof machine gun is a new model at real size, mounted beside the cupola instead of on it. A player's own tank now shows as a blue silhouette in dense smoke from the chase view. Changes In the shop, a click anywhere on an upgrade's row now buys it; the price no longer has to be hit. Machine gun elevation raised from 34 to 45 degrees, and its aim limits now follow the tank's tilt on slopes. Bot close-range lay error reduced from 1.0 to 0.5 m. Bot lead error is now 10 to 20% of the lead at full strength (was 5 to 15%). Fixes Fixed a bug where a short machine gun burst booked less heat than the rounds it fired. In rookie matches, a tank destroyed by a bot returns beside a teammate after 3 s while the team stands; a kill by a player gives no return. The shop is now a list: one row per upgrade with a detail pane, gun type as a row under Firepower, and keys 1 to 9, Enter and G. A player who joins a rookie match during a round now gets a tank at once beside a teammate. Changes Guests can now use tanks that unlock up to level 5 (T-34, Sherman); tanks above level 5 need a signed-in account.
