This demo covers the prologue and Chapter 1[/b] of the full game — roughly 40 to 60 minutes of play.

Long ago, sacred lamps were lit across the world to seal away a great calamity. Those who tend them and keep them from dying are called Lampkeepers[/b].

But now, one by one, the lamps are going out — starting from the north. Where the light fails, creeps in, and every living thing it touches is remade into something grey and still.

Hina, an apprentice Lampkeeper, defends her hamlet's shrine flame — and then learns that her master has vanished, leaving behind a single line: "I am going north, to the Great Lighthouse."

The demo starts at the very beginning of the story, not partway through. It ends at the bottom of the mine, where Hina rekindles the lamp and finds her master's footprints leading north.
