About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Your garden has a pest problem. You have a swatter.

TapTrapGrow is an action-focused incremental game about short hunts, permanent upgrades, and turning pests into chain reactions. Aim your swings, earn gold, and decide what to improve before heading back into the garden.

Light the garden. Line up your next hit.

Start in the dark and throw Flash glow sticks to reveal nearby pests. Wounded pests stay visible, even after leaving the light. Hold to keep swinging and guide your swatter with the mouse—your aim matters, not how fast you can click.

Improve your glow sticks and work toward permanent garden lighting as you progress.

Turn one target into a chain reaction

Unlock colored pest variants with effects that can turn a crowded patch of garden in your favor:

Bomb: explodes on defeat, damaging nearby pests.

Frost: freezes nearby pests on defeat.

Poison: poisons nearby pests on defeat, dealing damage over time.

Electric: sends sparks into nearby pests whenever it takes damage—even from another effect.

Choose where to strike and let the reactions spread. Each species has its own variant progression, so discovering a new creature opens up more effects to develop.

Build up between hunts

Spend your gold on permanent upgrades. Improve your survivability and hunting tools, or invest in each species' population and gold rewards for more targets and better payouts.

Complete hunt goals to improve your attack power and speed, unlock variants, and strengthen their effects. Your progress carries between runs.

Bring out the bosses

Max out a species' population and gold-reward upgrades to make its boss appear. Those upgrades also unlock the next species; defeating the boss is a separate challenge. Build up your garden and work toward defeating every species boss.
