Your keyboard is the weapon.

Every correct key fires a shot. Every typo jams your gun. The horde doesn't wait while you look for the right letter.

Dead Keys is a typing roguelite in a pixel-art zombie apocalypse. Type in 14 languages, alone, with a friend, or against one.

Every survivor plays differently, with their own passive and an ability you call in by typing its command: LAUNCH a rocket, go AKIMBO, pull the RIPCORD, throw a GRENADE or STERILIZE the street.

Hold the barricade for 50 waves. Build your run from 84 augments and face a boss every ten waves. Between runs you train your survivors, buy kits and unlock starter augments, so a losing run still moves you forward.

No builds. No abilities. No excuses. Just sentences and a minigun that spins faster the longer you keep your rhythm. Live WPM, accuracy and personal records, plus a Daily run: one seed a day, the same for every player in the world.

Hold the barricade with a friend over Steam or LAN, or race them in Endless VS. When one of you finally breaks, there is only one thing left to do: say that your cat walked across your keyboard.

Also planned for launch: a short story campaign, solo or co-op.

We can code. We cannot draw. What we did, you'll notice xd.

Every zombie you put down, every tile you stand on, every explosion and every letter of the font you're about to stare at for hours: theirs, not ours.
