About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Skeleton Crew: Castle Heist is a 1–4 player co-op game about a group of small skeletons sneaking into dangerous medieval castles, completing objectives, dealing with guards, and trying to make it out alive... or at least with enough bones to put themselves back together. 💀🏰

Explore castles filled with guards, valuable objects, obstacles, and unexpected situations. Depending on the mission, your crew may need to find and extract an object, deliver an item to a specific location, explore part of the castle, complete an objective, or survive the chaos created along the way.

⚙️ PHYSICS-BASED CHAOS

The game is built around physics and interaction with the environment.

Objects have weight and momentum. Heavy objects are difficult to carry, narrow passages can create problems, and even a small collision can completely change the situation.

A simple plan can turn into complete chaos within seconds.

🦴 LIMB LOSS

Skeletons do not use a traditional health system.

Attacks from guards can knock off individual limbs, and losing an arm or leg changes the way you move and interact with the environment.

Detached limbs remain in the world, allowing other players to pick them up and help their teammates put themselves back together.

Losing part of your body does not necessarily mean the raid is over.

🤝 CO-OP FOR 1–4 PLAYERS

Every player is part of the crew.

Some objectives are easier, or even impossible, to complete alone. Carry heavy objects, distract guards, explore the castle, and help teammates who have lost their limbs.

Communicate, divide responsibilities, and work together to improve your chances of escaping.

🏰 DIFFERENT RAIDS

The castle is made up of rooms that are procedurally assembled into different combinations.

Room layouts, routes, obstacles, guard placement, and other elements can change between raids, so you cannot simply memorize one route and repeat it every time.

Objectives can also vary from one mission to another.

🛡️ GUARDS AND PANIC

The castle is protected by different types of enemies.

The Hunter tracks skeletons and reacts to their actions. The Executioner is a dangerous melee opponent. The Sorcerer uses magic to interfere with the crew.

Guards can detect players, pursue them, and knock off their limbs.

Noise, destruction, and detection can also increase the Panic level , gradually making the situation more dangerous and harder to control. 🚨

🔮 THE NECROMANCER'S LOBBY

Between raids, the crew returns to the Necromancer's underground crypt.

This serves as the team's base for preparing for the next raid, restoring skeletons, interacting with the game's systems, and entering the castle again through the portal.

Enter the castle. Complete the objective. Help your crew. Escape.
