About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

You hear footsteps. They stop when you stop. You turn. You die.

Lose your pursuers, listen through walls, and hope what's around the next corner is still on your side.

Run from your friends. Then hunt them.

Tag:  A catch swaps roles. Hunter becomes Runner, Runner becomes Hunter. Hunt:  A catch adds a Hunter.  More Hunters, fewer Runners.

How you play

Public or private online lobbies. Singleplayer vs bots. Proximity voice chat brings every whispered warning, nervous laugh, and badly timed shout into the world. Try Push-To-Talk if you're afraid they'll hear you breathing.

Hunters

Each Hunter has its own look and its own ability: The Woodsman tracks Trails, Horizon sees with X-Ray Vision, the Imposter sneaks about in Disguise, and many more. Which Hunter stalks the grounds changes how everyone plays.

Hunting Grounds

Hedgemaze, Poolrooms, Farmhouse, Backrooms, Dungeon, Bio. Each theme changes more than the walls: Bio has unique topology, Farmhouse has curtains to hide behind, Hedgemaze has a fixed landmark at the center. Each round can rebuild the hunting grounds in new ways.

Match Setup

Choose Hunters, Grounds, Map Size, and Modes. Adjust movement speed, round length, ability cooldowns and more in the Advanced Settings menu. Keep it tense, make it chaotic, or practice against bots first.
