Lord Veydris has dragged Abigail into a hostile dream filled with relentless nightmares. Ganon follows, fighting through fifteen escalating waves to bring her home.
SURVIVE THE NIGHTMARE
Move, dash, and position yourself against increasingly dangerous hordes. Your equipped weapon attacks nearby enemies automatically, leaving you free to focus on movement, survival, and shaping your build.
BUILD YOUR OWN FIGHTING STYLE
• Wield seven distinct weapons, each with its own combat identity and special technique. • Combine up to four powerful abilities with a weapon imbuement. • Collect equipment across multiple rarities and compare randomized bonuses. • Strengthen damage, defense, movement, critical strikes, and other attributes. • Manage limited dash charges while enemies and hazards fill the battlefield.
GROW BEYOND A SINGLE RUN
Death is not the end of the Dream. Earn Dream Legacy points and Nightmare Shards, unlock permanent upgrades, expand your arsenal, and return stronger for the next attempt.
FACE LORD VEYDRIS
Survive all fifteen waves and confront Lord Veydris in a multi-phase final battle. Victory unlocks Nightmare Mode, where dangerous modifiers transform future runs with faster enemies, larger hordes, deadly elites, and other new threats.
Veridus The Walking Nightmare is a single-player dark-fantasy action roguelite built around escalating combat, build experimentation, permanent progression, and mastering the nightmare one run at a time.

• Pets now pull in nearby experience orbs, making collection faster and reducing late-wave screen clutter. • Improved orb performance to keep larger enemy waves running more smoothly. • Reliquary chests now provide blue items and low-tier pets. • Mimic chests now provide purple items and mid-tier pets. • Sapphire chests now provide orange and red items. • Gilded chests now provide God-tier items and legendary pets. • Chest rewards now display their stat bonuses and effects more clearly. • Reapers, ravens, elemental summons, and Blood Totems now continuously hunt visible enemies instead of returning or teleporting back to the player. • Summons now quickly find another nearby target after defeating an enemy.
