About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Your adventuring party has been swept through a storm in spacetime and into a trial arena. There’s only one way out: fight through three portals, each guarded by a boss.

Brute force won’t get you through. Here, victory depends on your build and teamwork, not quick reflexes.

About the Demo

This three-stage trial arena distills the combat and progression systems of Heavensmith: Dungeon Unbound into a focused training ground. Each stage provides a fresh supply of resources, and the third gives you plenty to experiment to your heart’s content. No exploration, no lengthy buildup—just you and the core loop:

Learn skills → Craft gear → Arrange your party → Unleash coordinated bursts of damage

Three Portals, Three Challenges

Eye of Magic — Your warm-up. Get the core loop working, and you’ll make it through.

Flameborn Phoenix — Figure out how to stay alive before worrying about how much damage you can deal.

Nameless God — A shadow deity with absurd healing power. Suppress its healing and discover its weakness, or you’ll barely scratch its health bar.

Your Tools

Spend JP to learn skills freely. You decide how each character grows.

All four equipment customization systems are available: Craft, Inlay, Enchant, and Blessing .

Apply a Blessing Rune to a weapon to instantly learn the skill it carries .

Six companions, each with a role to play. Choose who deals damage, who supports, and who waits in reserve—and swap them in and out during battle.

Stack buffs and unleash coordinated bursts of damage. With the right teamwork, your party becomes far more than the sum of its parts.

Stuck on a Boss?

Rest points fully restore your entire party for free, and every stage supplies resources. Trying again costs nothing. Lose a fight? Head back to the crafting bench, rethink your setup, and step through the portal again.

Still getting crushed? Seek out Buff the bard . He knows the complete strategy for every boss—if you’re willing to swallow your pride and ask. Expect a little mockery first, though. As he puts it: “Once I start explaining, things get awfully boring~”

Beyond the Demo

The trial arena is just a training ground. The full game gives these systems room to grow: a main story with two endings, each companion’s own storyline (and in this game, you only get one wedding), tough choices about town development and resource allocation, and enemies that keep pushing you to discover new combinations.

This demo is a standalone experience. Progress does not carry over to the full game.

If these systems sound like your kind of fun, add Heavensmith: Dungeon Unbound to your wishlist—Steam will remind you when it launches.
