You are the Necromancer. Reap the living, turn their Souls into supernatural capital, and build an around-the-clock undead operation that keeps you full to the brim with tasty soul capital.
Each floor is filled with unfortunate souls. Click directly on the living to Reap, watch the Soul Vessel fill as you progress, and claim the next floor. Bosses, gambling, investing. and making numbers go up. The living fight back, so reap quickly.
Invest Souls across four upgrade portfolios Click, Army, Tithe, and Forge. The first automatic attacker makes clicking optional. Keep investing until floors that once held you for minutes disappear in seconds.
Command representative undead companions without burying the target in duplicate units.
Defeat boss Covenants and bind eight build-changing Relics.
Use the Soul Exchange, Soul Crystal, and Ferryman's Wager to put idle capital to work.
Earn bounded offline progress and return to a live campaign instead of a reset screen.
Reach Floor 100, Ascend for permanent Black Sigils, and retrace your steps with enhanced power.
Push through a 200-floor initial campaign crossing dark-fantasy regions and a more demanding second cycle.

Much more still to come, we're just getting started!
We’ve locked the final planned Windows 1.0 revision ahead of Idle Necronomics’ October 27 release. Performance Improved performance during busy late-game combat, especially when large numbers of damage indicators are appearing. Reduced frame stalls by reusing the capped damage-number presentation and reducing combat-time allocations. Optimized wound setup and background Soul Crystal status and save work. Preserved the current look and feel, including combat timing, damage-number behavior, visual effects, rewards, and pacing. Interface and quality of life Simplified the offline earnings screen and abbreviated large Soul totals. Abbreviated Army DPS on the Campaign screen. Improved the Soul Exchange layout. Position slots sit lower in the frame, occupied positions show compact value and signed return information, and the Trade Ledger uses clearer profit and loss coloring. Improved Soul...

Clearer Campaign decisions The Campaign screen now separates the current run, next boss, active power, permanent progress, and run profile into distinct cards. Achievement cards also have dedicated space for their title, requirement, current value, and progress gauge, making long-term goals much easier to scan. A cleaner Soul Exchange The Soul Exchange now presents liquid Souls, invested capital, earning rate, and portfolio results as separate decisions instead of one wall of text. Soul Crystal positions use readable market medallions and profit/loss colors, while Ferryman's Wager has clearer passage values and multiplier steps. More interface polish Improved text fitting, alignment, and frame spacing across production menus. Refined floor navigation with a compact MOUSE WHEEL ±...

Read full update on Steam ↗Today's free Demo update sharpens the opening minutes of Idle Necronomics. You can now begin reaping immediately from the title screen. New Demo players enter the campaign directly, while returning players can continue their current run without an extra save-selection step. The most visible change happens on every kill: Souls now rise from the defeated body and travel into the Soul Vessel. The reward was always part of the economy; now the battlefield actually shows you claiming it. The Floor-10 Crownward fight is cleaner as well. Its timer has moved into the lower combat HUD so it no longer covers the enemy model. This update also adds **View Full Game** to the Demo title. If the first floors leave you wanting a larger ledger, you can reach the full Steam page without waiting until the end of the Demo. Your existing Demo progress is preserved, and the progression balance has not chan...
