Kyte has been nineteen for more than a century.

In Mortality... Please , a short (~30 minute) psychological horror visual novel, you follow Penelope, a university student who falls for a hoodie-wearing boy seemingly untouched by adulthood, career panic, or the pressure to become somebody.

During an ordinary history seminar, Kyte corrects the lecturer. He remembers the smell of a burned building, the name of someone missing from the official record, and an argument that happened away from every camera.

He speaks like a witness.

Osiris searches the campus archive and finds Kyte's unchanged face in a decades-old yearbook. Then a student film. Then VHS footage and dead online profiles belonging to people with different names.

Kyte laughs it off until Ursa arrives.

She is an elderly woman carrying a photograph of herself as a young woman. The boy standing beside her is Kyte. He has not aged a day.

Kyte admits that he has spent more than a century changing names, cities, schools, and lovers before anyone notices.

He loved the people he left behind. That never stopped him from leaving.

Inside a locked box is a possible way to end his immortality. Kyte has carried it for decades without finding the nerve to use it.

Through intimate choices, decide whether Penelope helps Kyte become mortal, joins him at nineteen forever, or turns every identity he abandoned into a permanent record he can never outrun.

Key Features:

Short but impactful psychological horror visual novel, with each playthrough lasting around 30 minutes.

A romance where immortality does not preserve love. It gives Kyte more people to abandon.

Archive horror built from old yearbooks, VHS recordings, dead forum pages, student films, and the same nineteen-year-old face appearing across generations.

Choices that shape whether Penelope protects Kyte's endless youth, confronts the lives he discarded, or accepts that an ending may be an act of mercy.

Three distinct endings based on whether Kyte becomes mortal, Penelope inherits his condition, or the archive makes him impossible to forget.

A confrontation between Penelope, Kyte, Osiris, and Ursa over who has the right to decide what happens to an endless life.

Contemporary university setting layered over decades of photographs, recordings, old identities, and evidence Kyte failed to erase.
