Verdreamia is a gardening game with no fail states, no timers, and nothing to defend while away, only tend when you're there. Neglect a dream for a month and it waits for you, a little sleepy.
Twelve places to begin: rolling meadow, mountain meadow, verdant field, river valley, mystic dune, tropical shore, raised beds, greenhouse, a Victorian conservatory, a great room, a blank canvas, and a garden of pods drifting past a window of stars. Thirty plus species, from daisies and foxgloves to moonbells that only glow after dark.
Plants are not prefab. Each specimen is generated from a seed and its own history of care, so no two are alike and yours regrow exactly as they were on any machine, forever.
Frame any view and it becomes a painting on your gallery wall. That gallery is the room you return to, and the record of what your gardens looked like on the days you loved them most. Eight art styles restyle a whole dream at once, from impressionism to old masters.
Every dream grows in one of two worlds, and you can move it between them whenever you like. Golden hush grows soft, rounded shapes in long honey light, and its blooms glow like small lanterns as the day fades. Classic is the uncanny garden of our dreams. Each art style can be applied to enhance the gallery framing of your dream.
Quiet joys instead of quests. Press a flourishing bloom to keep its cultivar, and the journal fills with what you noticed rather than what you completed. Send a postcard of a painting to a friend; the whole dream travels inside the picture, and they can walk through it.
Generative music with its own feel. Rain on greenhouse panes. A sun you can pin where you like it.
the garden grew a little today. - ambience and sounds start a little softer for a new dreamer. those two sliders now begin just above the middle. if you already play, they stay exactly where you left them - a dream can now grow past its place's measured line, more plants and more pieces of decor. the first planting past the recommended line asks once, softly, since past it a garden may slow down on some machines. in the demo, planting still rests at the line - postcards open whole, where a big garden's card used to arrive with part of it missing. a card heavier than this computer carries comfortably says so before it tries to open - a dream resting in the library can be let go from there without opening it: the × on its tile, pressed twice - if a dream ever asks more of your computer than it can give and the window goes dark, the game now comes back to the gallery on its own and says...
