About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

🪰 Welcome to Summer of Singing Insects

This is a soothing casual game brimming with rich summer atmosphere. Within the melody woven by cicada chirps, you can either play exclusive tunes with insect chirp tones, venture deep into the woods to catch various singing insects, raise them carefully in breeding boxes, and quietly listen to the one-of-a-kind crisp chirps of each little bug.

🎹 Cicada-Themed Electronic Keyboard

25-key visual electronic keyboard, playable via mouse clicks or physical computer keyboard

Three tone modes: Pure cicada electronic sound, piano blended with cicada chirps, organ blended with cicada chirps

Equipped with sustain effect, octave shifting and independent volume adjustment functions

A total of 42 singing insect tone skins, unlocked and replaceable through collection

Supports importing JSON/MID music scores for playback, as well as direct playback of local MP3 and WAV audio files

Fully customizable key mapping to match your personal playing habits

🪲 Moonlit Forest Insect Catching Gameplay

Each round is a 30-second timed forest catching challenge that tests your reflexes and eyesight. Consecutive successful catches will grant combo achievements.

There are 42 distinct singing insects categorized into five rarity tiers: Common, Fine, Superior, Epic and Legendary.

Caught insects are automatically unlocked as usable tone skins for the electronic keyboard.

The encyclopedia displays the wild spawn rate of each insect species to help you plan your collection goals.

🏠 Immersive Insect Viewing Breeding Box

Place captured singing insects into the breeding box and watch their lively behaviors of crawling freely and chirping in turns. The bugs will shyly stop chirping when you approach to feed them, and resume singing loudly once you step away, creating a miniature dynamic ecological garden of singing insects.

AI-driven autonomous behaviors including free movement, chirping and playful interactions for insects

Interactive feeding system to visually observe the responsive actions of bugs

Independent volume control for each individual box to prevent overlapping noisy chirps

📦 Complete Collection Encyclopedia System

Files archives for all 42 singing insects, allowing you to check the appearance, rarity and wild spawn probability of each species. Unlocked insect chirp skins can be switched with one click to change the playing timbre of the keyboard at any time.

🌐 Multi-Language Localization Support

The game includes 9 in-game interface languages: Simplified Chinese, English, 日本語，한국어, Español, Français, Deutsch, Português (Brasil), Русский
