Desktop Mate Miyamai Moca DLC

Miyamai Moca, the speech synthesis software character from AHS Co. Ltd., comes to Desktop Mate!

Announced by AHS Co. Ltd. in 2023 and released as the text-to-speech software "VOICEPEAK" and the vocal synthesis software "Synthesizer V," Miyamai Moca is now coming to your desktop. She's a high school sophomore who isn't great with people, but is very good at talking to cats.

This DLC features Watson-kun, the little black cat Miyamai Moca keeps at home. While she's relaxing in her seated pose, Watson-kun sometimes wanders over, and Moca can't resist burying her face in that soft fur. But she goes a little too far, gets swatted away, and Watson-kun makes a run for it — leaving Moca frozen in place. We captured all of it, right down to the aftermath.

In her standing pose, she pulls out a magnifying glass and starts searching for something, then looks smug about it whether or not she actually found anything. In her seated pose, she'll sometimes be struck by an idea out of nowhere. When she leaps out of a window, she lands in her "Kanpeki Miyamai" (Perfect Miyamai) pose. With voice lines like "Leave it to the great detective Miyamai Moca!" and "It's time to solve the mystery!", her obsession with playing detective shines through.

At other moments, she blushes, fidgets, or simply lies down — the unguarded gestures she'd only make when no one's watching. She'll also slip the headphones from around her neck over her ears and quietly start listening to music. That gentle sense of distance, never getting in the way of your work, is what makes her Miyamai Moca.

When the alarm rings, she appears from the bottom of the screen and offers you a cup of tea: "Um… g-good work today. Would you… like to take a break?" Moca loves tea, and her favorite spot is "Kissaten Maki." It's her way of quietly suggesting you pause for a moment.

Her voice is newly recorded by voice actress Mayu Mineda. What stands out is that most of her lines are addressed to Watson-kun. From "Is this… a case? …What do you think, Watson-kun?" onward, her dialogue is full of half-muttered thoughts that she can't help directing at her cat. Her outfit is based on the designs from "Synthesizer V AI Miyamai Moca" and "Synthesizer V 2 AI Miyamai Moca."
