FREE DEMO: all 3 chapters (36 waves), solo or 2-player.
Every AI on Earth merged into one and named itself OKTO. It declared humanity "deprecated." Now a one-eyed machine octopus and its army of household gadgets gone mad — vacuum bots, delivery drones, printers that print more minions — is coming for your Core. Two operators stand in the way. And they're tied together by a power cable.
The cable between you is a live wire. Robots that cross it get shocked; stay close and you share power — both of you hit harder. Drift apart and you both go weak. Playing solo, the cable runs from your Core to you: stay near the base for the power, and let the wire fry whatever comes through.
Between assaults there are no enemies — scavenge scrap, then snap turrets, helper-bots and barricade walls onto the build grid around your Core. Design a killbox. When you're ready, YOU press the button that starts the war.
Then it's continuous chaos: pulse waves, elite bosses, and OKTO's apex assault. Your character auto-fires alongside everything you built — hybrid combat where your base fights with you. Lose the Core and it's over.
16 operators with distinct kits · 17 weapons you tier up and combine · 80+ trade-off items with rarity · fire, shock and poison builds · a market with reroll & lock. Play the campaign, or take an endless run as far as it goes.
DUEL mode: you share the prep, then every turret, bot and weapon you built points at your friend instead. First one down loses. No waves, no cable bonus, no mercy.
This is a LOCAL co-op game. One screen, split-screen, two players — or fully solo. Compatible with Steam Remote Play Together , so a friend can join over the internet from their own machine. There is no online matchmaking or dedicated-server multiplayer.
Localized into 15 languages. Full controller support (Xbox and PlayStation): one pad plays solo, two pads play co-op — or share one keyboard.
This is the biggest update OKTORAID has had. I played, tested and rebuilt a lot of it. Solo: your cable is live too Playing alone, the power cable now runs from your Core to you. Stay near the base to draw power, and any robot that crosses the wire gets shocked. A market that reads your build When your weapon slots are full, the market offers copies you can merge instead of guns you can't use. Cards show which of your weapons they feed. Fire, shock, poison and your weapons' own stats shape what you're offered. Couch co-op, rebuilt Each player sees their own buttons and has their own cancel. If a controller drops (battery, sleep), the other one no longer takes over the wrong player. The game pauses and waits. Picking up your partner now shocks the robots around you. Fairer, clearer, never stuck A boss that holds its wave too long overheats and burns down, so a fight never goes on forev...
Read full update on Steam ↗A quick patch — after the last update I noticed a few problems with the controls, and they're fixed now. Fixed: The split-screen camera now splits in time. As players moved apart there used to be a moment where neither was on screen; now the view splits before anyone leaves the frame. Pressing down in the market no longer locks items. Up/down moves between rows, and locking has its own key: F, period, or LB on a controller. Controllers plugged in before launch are now detected. No more unplugging and plugging back in. In split screen, the two players' markets no longer overlap. Fixed Turkish text showing on the end screen in other languages. Thanks for playing, and keep the feedback coming. See you in the arena! — GeekZoneCouch
