Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Welcome to the Stone

Control a questfarer, Kabe, as he arrives on the footsteps of Stoneroost, a place built inside just another crater on the Stone. Carrying only his beloved diary and trusty war hammer, he is ready to sign off another quest.

His journey quickly goes awry, as he is joined by other questfarers. They are faced with a place so full of corruption, it seeps out of the very earth itself.

Only their minds will see them survive and solve the mystery of this world, where brute force is almost never the answer.

Will their minds save them, or be corrupted beyond saving?

Key Features:

A unique 2D hand-drawn art style designed to vividly bring to life all the shadowy corners of this dark fantasy world.

A living breathing immersive world of sounds, colours and animated movements all around you.

A fully voiced world of 45+ dark fantasy characters, one more corrupted or deceitful than the last.

Deep story and dialogue, the more you explore, the more you know.

129 2D illustrated backgrounds, each line drawn with care and attention to detail by a human's hand.

A puzzle system designed alongside the world and story, to fully integrate puzzles, story and world into one...one cannot exist without the other.

A visual world hiding visual clues to puzzles all around you, so you are rewarded for observation.

Walk from one point of the world map to the other seamlessly in this one of the many craters of the Stone, or fast travel using the map.

Every action our hero takes, is traditionally animated frame by frame, no shortcuts taken.

From the creator of award winning freeware game Duty and Beyond, now combining his passion for adventure games and 2d illustration into a new high resolution classic adventure game.

One man's tribute to all those amazing 2D adventures and 2D animated movies of the past, that ignited his imagination.
