Stellacore: Mining Odyssey -> Steam Store about the game

Stellacore: Mining Odyssey is a fast-paced 2D space shooter and mining hybrid. Take the helm of a nimble starfighter in a frontier mining sector overrun by hostile, block-built machines. Shatter enemies piece by piece, crack asteroids for precious ores, and spend everything you salvage on a deep, branching upgrade tree — then push deeper into the sector.

Your goal: fight, mine, and upgrade your way through 26 hand-tuned stages across three difficulty modes — Easy, Hard, and one-life Permadeath — survive six boss battles along the way, and take down the final boss guarding the depths of the sector.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

26 stages with a steadily rising difficulty curve that mixes enemy types, scales enemy health and damage, and tightens the arena as you go deeper

6 boss battles spaced through the campaign, each with its own attack patterns and weak points, culminating in a final boss showdown with elite escorts

Three difficulty modes : Easy, Hard, and one-life Permadeath

6 ore types to collect

A deep, branching upgrade tree with dozens of upgrades across firepower, defense, drones, items, mining, and mobility

THE CORE LOOP — COMBAT AND MINING ARE ONE

Every enemy you destroy and every asteroid you crack drops the ores you need to grow stronger. The more you risk, the more you mine — and the deeper you go, the more you need. There is no downtime between fighting and earning: shooting, looting, and upgrading are one continuous cycle.

COMBAT — SHATTER BLOCK-BUILT ENEMIES

Every enemy in the sector is assembled from destructible blocks, and each block has its own health — and often its own weapon. A patrol ship may carry a turret block that peppers you from range, a laser block that sweeps a beam across the arena, or a blaster block that fires ring bursts up close. Tear off the dangerous blocks first to cripple an enemy's arsenal, or aim straight for its core to end the fight quickly.

Enemies move with purpose, too. Expect chasers that hunt you down, dashers that lunge through your line of fire, figure-eight weavers, snaking patrols, spiral divers, and sweeping edge-to-edge runs — each movement style demands a different dodge. Later stages combine enemy types and shrink the arena, turning every screen into a puzzle of angles and priorities.

MINING — CRACK ASTEROIDS BETWEEN THE BULLETS

Asteroid fields drift through the sector packed with extra ore — but mining leaves you exposed. Break them open for bonus resources while dodging enemy fire, and watch out for lightning-charged asteroids that chain deadly arcs across the field and turn a quick mining run into chaos.

PROGRESSION — FORGE YOUR OWN ODYSSEY

Everything you salvage feeds a deep, branching upgrade tree with dozens of nodes across five areas:

Firepower — bullet damage, fire rate, reload speed, clip size, extra bullets per volley, and rounds that ricochet through packed arenas

Defense — tougher hulls, hull regeneration, rechargeable shields , brief invincibility windows, and knockback dampeners

Items — arm rockets and a bullet-eraser that clears enemy fire from the screen in an emergency

Mining — a resource magnet , ore mixing/conversion , and bonus drops

Mobility — ship speed and handling

Upgrade paths branch and stack, so two players can forge very different ships. Your progress is saved and synced through Steam Cloud , so your Odyssey continues exactly where you left off.

THREE WAYS TO PLAY

Easy — a relaxed cruise through the sector for newcomers.

Hard — tuned for veterans who want a real fight.

Permadeath — one life across all 26 stages. When your ship falls, the run is over.
