You wash ashore with up to nine friends, and the sea is already climbing. Split up, grab driftwood, logs and palm fronds, craft a raft and get everyone on board before the water takes the last hill. Or play solo, and the whole boat is yours.
The beach floods first and the highest hill floods last. You can swim and dive, but your breath runs out fast, and swimming makes you tired.
Open your inventory to craft tools and boat parts anywhere. Crafting takes time, and the sea keeps rising while you work.
Place your boat at the waterline and let the rising water lift it. For once, the flood is on your side.
If a friend goes down, you have a short time to revive them. If you are too late, bring their ghost back at any shrine still above water. Alone, going down ends the run.
Co-op for 1 to 10 players. Invite friends through Steam, share a room code or play on a local network.
Proximity voice chat. Hear the friends near you. The farther away they are, the quieter they get.
One captain. The first one aboard decides when to sail. Everyone fits on board. Wait for your friends, or go without them.
Friendly fire is always on. Fists, axes, pickaxes and spears hurt other players too. Play nice. Or don't.
Pick your difficulty. Choose how fast the sea rises.
Seeds you can share. Every seed builds a different island. Type in a friend's seed, or retry the same island if nobody escapes.
