About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Depth Charge is a horror game in which you must complete (and survive) all of your shifts at your job as a bellman in the deepest trench of the Atlantic Ocean.

Gameplay

The core gameplay consists of completing a set of tasks, while watching your noise and trying to survive encounters with a variety of deep-sea monsters in your heavily jury-rigged diving bell. ( The gameplay is AUDIO-HEAVY , so speakers or headphones are important )

Based on your performance in each shift, you will be awarded your wage and allowed to spend your money on upgrades for your diving bell.

As a bellman, you are responsible for the safety of your divers. If  you bring at least one back after they perform a successful dive, you must manually pump all of the nitrogen from their bloodstream  —  while they are asleep, of course. Just try to keep the lights off if they start to toss and turn, waking up during such a procedure may impact their mental state, and therefore their productivity.

Post Game Content

Depth Charge has four unique endings, each giving bits and pieces of a grander narrative. Mess around with different upgrades and look for all sorts of secrets to unlock them!

Once you get any ending for the first time, you unlock HYPOXIA MODE!  A timed game mode meant to provide a fun post-game challenge.
