Ancient Monoliths stand across Veyra, the Flux Moon. Infuse your troops with Flux to push beyond the limits of your technology, survive the moon, and prepare to expand.
Veyra's ore is the key to crossing the stars. Three civilizations have each sent a small seed force to claim it. None of them can go home, and none can bring more until a Flux relay stands. The moon is not empty: its native life reacts to every mine.
Cindral Vanguard , from the industrial world Kharos. The anvil: units that stand still near their own completed structures take less damage.
Zephyrine Court , from Aurelion, ruled by scientific houses. The knife: every unit is faster than its rivals, with thinner hulls.
Pelagic Choir , from the ocean world Neryth. The chorus: no speed or armour trade-off, dependable everywhere.
All three share the economy, the Monoliths and the core roster. Doctrine is what sets them apart.
Metal and energy stream in every second and are spent as you build. Queue up to 10 orders per factory, loop production, and spread a queue across every factory you select. Siphon Flux, the rare third resource, from shards to field elite units. Fight on land, at sea and in the air with 15 unit classes, and upgrade field structures to MK2 and MK3.
Three game modes: Ascendancy, Annihilation and Classic RTS, plus optional Horde Attacks, where waves of native creatures hit every base, sooner and bigger each time
Skirmish against AI on 32 hand-built maps for 2 to 8 commanders, plus a map generator with nine terrain styles
Teams, start positions, 16 player colours, army size and bot difficulty for each seat
Online multiplayer through Steam for up to 8 players: host with a 6-digit join code or invite friends
If the host crashes, the match can be resumed with everyone back in their seats
Basic Training: three missions that teach the controls, the economy and how to take a Monolith. The three faction campaigns are coming soon.
Watch All Bots: turn any setup into a spectator battle at 1x to 16x speed
Saves and replays, built on a deterministic simulation
In-game Getting Started guide covering controls, factions, modes, settings and lore
The IronFlux demo is now on version 0.1.5, the same build as the full game, with a lot of new things to try. The demo stays available until 1.0 Once it's out, the demo isn't going anywhere: it will stay available on Steam until IronFlux reaches 1.0, and it's updated alongside the full game as it grows. What's new in the demo New map system: a map browser with filters and a larger preview, plus VIEW MAP to inspect the whole battlefield before the match starts: every start, metal deposit, power vent and flux source. Map generator with distinct terrain styles: crater fields, highland plateaus, canyon walls, rivers, island cores, Ocean Between and Archipelago. Every generated map is mirrored per player. Summit walls: peaks that nothing crosses, aircraft included. Bombers and gunships must fly around them. Deep open water: land armies can't walk across the sea; only the shoreline can be wa...
