High above Earth, your station is waiting.
Walk in. Sit down at your desk. The screens come alive, and your games are right there on the shelf.
Astrolobe OS is a console you live inside: an orbital station with a desk of your own, screens that wake when you sit down, and a library of original first-party games. Pick up a controller and play. Set it down and open the desktop. Come back tomorrow, and everything is exactly where you left it.
TERMINAL ORION: A ROBOT WAR ACROSS SPACE
The flagship. Fast movement, heavy machines and weapons that hit like they mean it, across more than 35 authored maps.
Tear through the arena in Drill Bots with the robot and drill you choose. Fight in team battles, free-for-all, objective modes, and a snipers-and-stickies-only mode for the sharpshooters. Survive round after round of hostile machines in Infected, from runners and crawlers to ranged threats and bosses. Go close-quarters in tight 2v2 and 3v3 Arenas with nowhere to hide. Play offline against bots any time in Skirmish, build your own battlegrounds in Forge, and set your own rules in Custom Games. Play local split-screen with up to four players in Custom Games and Infected.
Choose your first robot from a roster of 30. Climb the ranks to unlock the rest, and earn medals for the moments worth remembering. Every mode opens with a voice that tells you what's at stake.
MORE ON THE SHELF
Astrolobe is a home for every kind of game, not just one shooter. Grapple Grid is momentum arcade action: swing, chain, score and take down bosses. The House Keeps Ten is a horror anthology hiding somewhere in the station. RETE MIRABILE puts a living system in your hands, where simple rules grow into endless life. Every game sits on your shelf in its own case. Pick one up and play.
THEN GET TO WORK
Behind the games is a real desktop, not a menu dressed up as one. Open, move, resize and close real application windows. Use the Start menu, taskbar, search and system settings. Work with files and folders, Notes, and a built-in command shell. Make it yours with themes, wallpapers and layouts for every screen from 4:3 to super-ultrawide. Use a controller, or mouse and keyboard. Sit at a single-screen desk, or a three-screen Creator Station overlooking Earth.
UNDER THE HOOD: A CONSOLE THAT KEEPS TRACK OF ITSELF
Most launchers are a picture of a computer. Astrolobe OS has a real one underneath.
Nothing is silently lost. Every change to your files is checked before it lands, and out-of-date or conflicting actions are refused instead of quietly overwriting your work. Everything is on record: each change produces a receipt of what was asked, whether it went through, and exactly what changed. And it can prove its own history. The system can replay a run of events from the same starting point and confirm it arrives at exactly the same state.
For the curious: a Python kernel owns the console's internal model, covering programs, windows, focus, files, settings and session state. The station and desktop you see are rendered in Godot as a view of that model. Changes run as governed commands, are committed or rejected, and are recorded in a SQLite-backed authority with SHA-256-hashed receipts. Generation checks stop stale commands from overwriting newer state, and ordered event records support deterministic replay verified by state hashes.
Astrolobe OS runs on Windows as an application. It does not replace Windows and has no free run of your PC. Anything it touches on your machine goes through specific, permissioned interfaces.
IN DEVELOPMENT
We'd rather tell you straight than oversell it. These are being built now and are not promised for day one: online multiplayer for TERMINAL ORION, arriving as a beta; Astrolobe Browser, for real websites right on your desktop; the Command Center, a shared online space of ten offices around a twelve-screen central room; ORION ZERO, where the story begins as a machine smaller than a bug waking up in a petri dish; and more first-party games and tools, including Astral Ante, Phantom Ports, Morrow Bellweather, Astrolobe Canvas and Astrolobe Drift Studio.
ONE PURCHASE
One purchase gets you the console, every game on its shelf at release, and its first-party software.
One console. A desk of your own. Games to play. Things to build.
Here is your new place. Go play, or go work.
Steam currently lists 10 Nov 2026 as the release date.
