About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

The Entropy Tide is devouring the galaxy. As the last captain of the Starseed, you must carry its spark from the Solar System to the beacon on the far side of the Milky Way.

Act I is the Solar System: Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars, the Main Belt, Jupiter, Saturn's rings, Uranus, Neptune and the Kuiper Belt. Act II crosses the Oort Cloud to Alpha Centauri, Sirius, the Pleiades, Betelgeuse and the Orion Nebula, ending at the Pillars of Creation. Act III runs through the Sagittarius Arm and the Galactic Bar, skims the accretion disk of Sagittarius A*, and reaches the Far Beacon at the galaxy's rim. Every stop has its own planets, stars and sky.

Every level is a real journey: head for the jump gate on the horizon while patrols, ambushes and gate-guarding elites try to stop you. Reach the gate, hold it while it charges, and jump to the next stop — punch straight through or slip around the patrols.

Your guns shatter asteroids, crystals, satellite wrecks and fuel canisters. Canisters explode, glowing ore drops scrap, and enemy fire breaks your cover too.

Third-person, full six-degrees-of-freedom flight. Dashing makes you invulnerable, so you can slip straight through bullet curtains. Each ship has its own special ability: Nova Burst, Phase Shift, Aegis, Swarm Storm and Solar Flare.

The more you upgrade, the mightier (and flashier) your ship becomes: four forms from Mk I to Mk IV add armor, wings and engines until hard-light energy wings unfold. Weapons mount on the hull as real modules, and projectiles, engine trails and impacts grow more spectacular with every level.

Every act is a fresh route map of hostiles, elites, mysterious signals, black markets, repair docks and relic pods. Choose from 7 primary weapons, 7 auto-firing auxiliary weapons, 22 stacking modules and 33 unique relics.

The Marauder Queen, The Assembler and the Heart of Entropy each fight in multiple phases. Spend Embers on permanent hangar upgrades, unlock 5 distinct ships, and conquer 6 threat levels and 27 achievements.
