About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Somewhere, the world has gone grey and frayed. With a needle and a quiet hour, you can bring it back.

Darning is a cozy game built on a single, tactile act: stitching. Drag your thread across torn, faded cloth and watch hidden colors bloom into shape — a heart, a leaf, a little creature, a gem you didn't know was there. You never see the picture until you mend it.

Every piece is procedurally generated and given its own name, so the cloth never runs out and no two are ever quite the same. Finish one and it's saved forever in your collection — a growing scrapbook of everything you've brought back to life.

There is no timer. No score. No way to lose. Just soft generative music, the quiet rhythm of the needle, and the small, real satisfaction of making something whole again.

Features

Stitch to reveal — hidden colors bloom beneath your needle; you discover each picture by mending it

Endless & unique — every piece is procedurally generated and named; the cloth never runs out

Your collection — keep everything you mend, and revisit or continue any piece anytime

Pure calm — no timers, no scores, no failure, ever

Real cross-stitch feel — tactile stitching with soft, generative ambient music

Gentle milestones — small, warm rewards as your collection grows

A daily piece — a special new picture to mend each day

Zen mode — hide the interface for pure, screensaver-like calm

Pour a warm drink, put on something quiet, and mend a little corner of the world.
