DashBreaker is an active incremental game where you dash through enemies and spend the resources you collect on permanent ship upgrades. Head out in a small craft, gather resources, unlock new abilities, and break through ever larger foes.
At first, breaking a single asteroid takes your full attention. As your upgrades add up, you can pierce tougher enemies, spread your attacks to nearby targets, and bring down whole groups at once. The same single dash delivers a completely different result.
The resources you bring back from each sortie fuel your next upgrades. Return to base to boost your attack power, widen your collection range, and keep your craft fighting longer. The more enemies you destroy and resources you gather, the closer you get to the next ability you want to unlock.
Start in a mining zone dotted with small asteroids, then advance into battlefields defended by missiles and massive warships. Enemies you once struggled to break through become new proof of your growing strength. Carve through enemy groups with stronger dashes and take on bigger targets.
Hello from the developer of DashBreaker! This update introduces a reworked upgrade tree for the demo. The upgrades you buy now open up your next choices, letting you discover new upgrades and abilities as you grow stronger. Upgrade layouts, prices and prerequisites have also been adjusted. The aim is to make the progression from piercing larger enemies to unlocking abilities that change how you fight feel more natural. Returning players: please visit the upgrade terminal before your next sortie. As part of the move to the new tree, upgrades purchased in the previous tree are reset, and all Gold spent on those purchases is refunded. The refund is added to your existing Gold balance. Region unlocks and progress are kept. The conversion happens automatically when you load your existing save. An in-game notice shows your actual refund amount. Use the refunded Gold to purchase upgrades aga...
Read full update on Steam ↗Hello from the developer of DashBreaker! This update is about spending less time saving your dashes and more time moving and crashing into targets. The loop of fighting, collecting resources and permanently upgrading your ship continues. More freedom to move Dashing and using your booster no longer consume extra energy. Dashes still need to recharge, but you have less reason to hold back just to save fuel. Health and fuel have been combined into a single energy pool. Energy drains over time and when you take damage, and recovery pickups can replenish it. Cores activate automatically when ready All of your unlocked cores are used in combat. Each core stays active for a limited time, then goes on cooldown before activating again automatically. There are no separate activation buttons, so you can focus on movement and dashing. While the relevant cores are active, you can dash alongside c...

Added a notice when entering the first regular combat sector to explain that training protection has ended.
