About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Numbers Go Up is a Roguelike Deckbuilder played on the 2048 grid. Slide, merge, score - then rebuild the rules between rounds and try to keep up with the numbers going up!

In Numbers Go Up, Everything interacts with everything, you have complete freedom to build around whichever system suits your playstyle. It gives you endless ways to build the perfect scoring engine, but always keeps you on your toes by dynamically tracking how you play and adapting itself to your build intelligently.

Between gates you cash out and shop the black-market bazaar. Mods are illegal programs to run inside your terminal. They r ewrite how scoring works. Enhanced tiles change how the pieces themselves behave: they charge, magnetize, go volatile, turn to gold. Programmable hacks give you direct control over the terminal's systems.

The spawn pool is your deck, and you get to rig it. renice a value and it spawns twice as often. Stack it and it's dealt to you every single move. unlink the ones you're don't like. You want a 1024 dealt to you every move? you can do that.

What's in the demo

- 40 mods: 29 from your first run, 11 more you unlock by playing

- 8 hacks, including renice and unlink

- 6 enhanced tiles

- 8 gate bosses: 7 in the rotation, then The Mirror

- 16 gates per run, then Endless

- 2 sectors (Red, and Modded once you've done 4 runs) x 3 encryption levels

- Seeded runs: share a six-character code and race the same board

- Online: Quick Match and private rooms

- A catalog that grows every run, with a preview of 21 full-game mods

- Full controller support via Steam Input API
