About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Discover different freight traffic with Skyhook Games’ Cargo Line for Train Sim World. In Volume 7, get busy with wagons made for haulin’ with the iconic IZA Vans! Traverse the bustling West Coast Main Line with cross-border goods in-tow, ready for distribution across key European industries.

Many wagons are good for hauling something, but sometimes you need a wagon that’s good at hauling anything ; enter the humble van. Cubed in construct and not fitted for any one type of cargo, vans play a vital role in transporting a wide variety of products and materials, be it metal, medical or mineral. Such goods are also international in nature, with suppliers and customers rarely being neighbours.

The IZA Twin Van featured in Cargo Line Vol. 7 is a 2-axle box wagon, designed to make use of the full UK loading gauge for maximum capacity. Fitted with conventional draw gear and semi-permanent couplings, these wagons work in fixed pairs, and a total of 100 pairs were constructed in 1986, with a further 100 in use by 1991. IZAs are cleared for use in the Channel Tunnel and are used for the transportation of products between the UK and Europe.

Through a new selection of scenarios and timetable services, take on the task of hauling these versatile vans on the British side of the border, namely up and down the commuter-heavy corridor of the West Coast Main Line.

With Free Roam and Formation Designer, pick any locomotive in your collection and bolster additional routes with cross-channel traffic of your making; either in the UK, or to a European destination of your choosing.

Please Note: For the full experience, we recommend you own Train Sim World: West Coast Main Line: London Euston - Milton Keynes which is available as a separate purchase.
