In Theos: Cities of Myth , cities are shaped by the will of the people as much as that of the Gods watching over them. You will rise as the founder of a new, promising Polis, in a reimagined Ancient Greece where history and myth walk hand in hand.
Build a Sanctuary for your Deity, and lay the foundations of your city. Create efficient road networks to keep your citizens fed and safe. Gather resources to trade and upgrade your buildings, and raise majestic temples to your Olympian Patron so your city can grow and prosper under its Gods’ watchful eye.
This Demo gives you a taste of what the full game has to offer: after getting you acquainted with the basic game mechanics in the tutorial, it will place you on the throne of Athens and as the founder of the colony of Miletus, with two very different Olympian Deities as Patron: Athena and Dionysus.
With the wise Athena, you will be asked to develop a city where philosophy schools spread their knowledge and citizens are kept fed and secure with prudent alliances and balanced trade agreements. On the other hand, under her half-brother Dionysus’ influence, Miletus will become a city where the party never ends, and citizens are kept happy with all sorts of celebration and excess.
Each mission features a series of divine demands that will guide your rule. Take advantage of the unique characteristics of each mission’s map to build a city that will please both your deity and your citizens.
