A girl was murdered.

And she is the only one still hunting for her killer.

Han Xiaoxiao, 20 years and 364 days old. Before she could even cut her birthday cake, she became the cold body lying on the autopsy table. Now she stands beside her own corpse as a spirit no one can see, no one can touch.

She can scream until it tears her apart, and no one will hear. She reaches for a clue, and her hand passes straight through the drawer. She wants to seize the person who killed her, yet now she can't even push open a door.

Yet the dead have ways of their own.

With a single unremarkable hairpin, she becomes a thief of borrowed bodies. She borrows a living pair of eyes to truly see the people around her, borrows a living pair of hands to pry open locked rooms and drawers she was never meant to touch, and eavesdrops on the secret that should have gone to the grave.
