Read full update on Steam ↗The street outside your building has been getting most of our attention this round, but the bigger changes are in how you move tenants in and how the staff are paid. And yes, your reports drove a good chunk of this one too. Here is what changed. The street comes aliveThree new neighbors have opened up next door: Rewind Video with shelves of films and an old TV in the window, Gusto Pizza with striped awnings and a pizza oven you can see from the street, and Tea House with a yellow door and a cosy corner for tea. Nine new building paint colours in the Upgrades construction tab, with the palette now arranged by colour. Two new jazz tracks join the rotation while you manage the building. All 24 tenants and Morty Gage now sign their rental agreements with their own handwritten signatures. Moving in, without the guessworkHover a moving-in box to see a portrait of who is waiting inside, so y...
Read full update on Steam ↗Demo Update 1.3Another update for the demo, and this one came almost entirely from your reports. The theme this time is the same thing many of you said in different ways: the game was not explaining itself. Happiness that moved for no visible reason, reputation nobody could work out, fees in the daily summary for things you never did. Here is what changed. Seeing what your tenants actually feel Every opinion and unmet requirement now shows its happiness value, so a small annoyance no longer looks like a crisis. Temporary effects from events show how many days they have left, so you can tell a passing mood from a permanent one. Your staff now appear in a tenant's panel, so you can see when the cleaner, porter or security guard is keeping them happy. Tenants tell you when they form a new opinion about a neighbour. Those feelings grow over time, so a mood could shift days after move-in w...

Read full update on Steam ↗We just updated the Grandma Left Me a Building demo. Thank you to everyone who took the time to send in reports, it genuinely helps us make the game better. Added A Skip Tutorial button under every tutorial pop-up. It asks for confirmation first, so you can't skip it by accident. A notification for when the agent has no one left to offer you. Fixed Players could get stuck in the tutorial. Dismissing any notification now advances it. "Not Yet" warnings piled up on top of each other during the tutorial. Buttons stayed stuck in a pressed state after closing a menu. Clicks did not register near the left and right edges of the screen. This was blocking the Kick Out button, apartment info cards, tenant dragging, and picking tenants up from the truck. The Kick Out button. Kicking a tenant now works reliably, costs only the early termination fee from the contract, and the panel shows the corr...
