Explore procedurally generated Backrooms environments, scavenge for supplies, document anomalies, and fight off threats. Return to outposts regularly to trade resources and restock your supplies. This isn't just another escape attempt. It's a journey of long-term survival in an anomalous world.

Endless Backrooms Exploration

The Backrooms are procedurally generated, with corridors, rooms, passageways, and special areas stretching endlessly into the unknown.

Navigate ever-changing environments, search for valuable resources, and decide when to push deeper and when to retreat.

Scavenge to Survive

Search for almond water, food, tools, and equipment while managing your inventory and survival needs.

Along the way, you may discover rare collectibles, mysterious items, and strange anomalies worth documenting.

Gather valuable loot or capture your discoveries on camera. Venturing deeper may bring greater rewards, but it also comes with greater risks.

Build Camps and Establish Footholds

Set up temporary camps during your expeditions. Place storage containers, lighting, and essential survival equipment. Store your scavenged supplies, organize your gear, and recover your strength. Turn your camps into vital footholds for deeper exploration.

Fight Back, or Retreat

Not every threat can be avoided. Use weapons to defend yourself or choose to retreat when the danger becomes too great. Above all else, making it back to the outpost alive is what matters most.

Outpost Trading

After returning to an outpost, sell your loot, purchase supplies, and prepare to go deeper. Explore, retreat, trade, resupply — then head out again.

Co-op Exploration

Enter the Backrooms with your friends and work together to scavenge, take photos, keep watch, and evacuate. But traveling together does not mean you are truly safe.
