You are not here to save lives. You are here to make a profit.
Organomancer is a dark management sim and tycoon game where organs are your currency. Operating in the grim, clock-powered shadows of Victorian Arkwright, you will trade on the organ market, upgrade your underground lab, and manage a network of desperate contacts. Just keep the cops off your back. One bad deal, a missed payment, or a police raid is all it takes to ruin your empire.
The Organ Market & Inventory
Your inventory is your lifeline. Buy hearts, livers, kidneys, and brains with varying rarity and condition levels from the central market. But remember that flesh rots. Organs lose value every hour they sit in your stash. You need to manage your space, know when to hold your stock, and know when to cut your losses.
Treat Patients & Supply Contacts
The organs you gather have a purpose. Desperate patients across Arkwright need specific body parts with strict condition requirements. Deliver exactly what they need before the timer runs out to earn cash and boost your reputation. You can also sell directly to your network of contacts, catering to their specific buying preferences to keep your alliances strong.
Quick Cash via Benevolence
Need money right now and have no immediate buyers? The Benevolence system lets you donate organs for fast emergency payouts on the streets. It is great for staying afloat, but rushing too many shady donations raises your suspicion level. Get too greedy and the authorities will start paying attention.
Run an Underground Lab
Turn cheap parts into premium goods. Use your lab to restore decaying organs or upgrade their rarity through risky medical procedures. Play it safe for steady income or take big risks for massive breakthroughs. You can even cultivate brand new organs from cells if you have the cash to keep the lab running.
Manage Your Economy
Cash flow is everything in this strategy game. Handle your bank accounts, take out loans, and pay your operating costs. If you fall behind on taxes or syndicate dues, the penalties stack up fast. Frozen accounts and blocked contacts will destroy your business.
Build a Network
You cannot survive alone. Work with different contacts scattered around the city. Complete side jobs, gather intel on market shifts, and keep your allies happy. If you miss their payments, they will go silent and cut you off.
Dodge the Law
The police are always watching. Unregulated donations and late payments fill up your suspicion meter. If the cops show up, you have to talk your way out using dialogue choices. Bribe them, lie, or stay quiet. If they raid you, they will seize your inventory and shut you down.
React to Dynamic World Events
The market changes every day. Pay attention to the news headlines. A sudden epidemic means heart prices will skyrocket. Supply drops will cause bidding wars. Anticipate the market, adjust your strategy, and make a killing.
Pick from four different characters to match your playstyle. Each has unique perks and drawbacks, and you unlock them by playing through the campaign:
Apprentice Lysosom: Organs decay slower, but in-game time moves faster.
Dr. Viskera: Get bonus rewards from VIP contacts, but lab work is much riskier.
Aunt Glia: Earn more cells from side jobs, but failing clients ruins your reputation faster.
Senior Osteo: Cheaper bone organs and bribes, but upgrades are expensive and police raids hit harder.
Play exactly how you want. Choose a difficulty from Beginner to Nightmare, or build a custom game from scratch. You can tweak starting money, reputation, and market difficulty. Want a pure tycoon experience with no stress? Jump into Creative Mode for unlimited resources, zero decay, and no police.
Hello everyone, welcome to a new devlog. Update NotesSave/Load System FixedPatient pool data was not being saved.Police suspicion and raids were being restored in the wrong order when loading a game. The inventory was not clearing after a load. Organs that had been donated or used in surgery were still sitting in the inventory. The save system did not initialise correctly on every PC.Tutorial System FixedTutorial cursors were appearing in the wrong places, which broke the game's fiction.Added a "Tutorial Tips / Guide" section so players can find the parts they missed.General Issues FixedAt low reputation, patients with very high demands were showing up. For example, patients requesting "Perfect" organs appeared on the map at 20 reputation. The reputation-to-patient balance has been corrected.Positive and negative effects from the "News" panel sometimes failed to apply properly in game....

Read full update on Steam ↗Hello everyone from Devlog #3,I’ve been ill for the past two weeks. On top of that, as I’m a dad to a little girl, I haven’t had much free time. I also couldn’t make the necessary updates to the game because of holidays and trips. (What a hard-working game developer I am!). Anyway, I’m back with a new update;I’ve introduced the benevolence system. (It used to be the black market.)I didn’t like the black market system and it was rather pointless. I don’t even know why I added it in the first place :). But I’ve removed it.Instead, there’s now a benevolence system. You can donate organs from your inventory to people who come to your door asking for help. All you need is to have organs in your inventory.Every time you open and close the Good Deeds panel, the person you’ll be donating to changes. This isn’t a bug, it’s a feature :)Also, the demo is almost ready. I’ll be sharing it soon.Tha...
Read full update on Steam ↗Devlog #2 - Hello Everyone,I've been wrestling with the dialog system for a while now. After a long and exhausting stretch of work, I finally got it done. Even with AI assistance, there were way too many bugs, especially in the build, where visuals, conversations and the entire panel kept shifting out of place. Learned the hard way...Here's a quick breakdown of how the dialog system works:Some contacts will now reach out to you on their own and start random conversations. (Some might even come with rewards... maybe :) )When the police raid you, the dialog system kicks in and they'll have a few demands. You know how it goes :)I've decided to add dialogs to the quest system as well. Not sure if I'll write unique dialog for every single quest, but I'm going to give it a shot. The tutorial wasn't fully finished anyway, so I want to blend it into the dialog system. I think having the first...
