YOUR BODY IS YOUR WEAKNESS. A four-player co-op horror game that puts you in the shoes of the chief scientists of a research facility. Your sole objective is to carry out the self-destruct plan and escape the facility.
In ZONE L.O.S.T., you don't choose a hero - you choose your limitations. The game features four characters, each with unique physiology: one can't see what's on the table, another can't squeeze through a narrow opening, and one is physically bound to their chair. Your body is your greatest debuff.
The complex is composed of objects governed by the laws of physics. These aren't just decorations, but the only way to compensate for your vulnerability. Use tables, chairs, equipment, and office furniture to create visual barriers. There are no designated stealth zones in this game - you create your own lines of sight using anything that can be moved, rolled, or knocked over.
The entire complex is divided into five sectors. In each, you are assigned specific tasks:
Complete tasks in each ZONE L.O.S.T. sector.
Find and activate the Self-destruction Button.
Evacuate before the ZONE L.O.S.T. complex enters the self-destruct phase
You are not alone in the halls of ZONE L.O.S.T. Creatures that have escaped from their containment zones are tireless. They react to noise and changes in their environment. You have no countermeasures—only physical interaction with the objects and the ability of your team to coordinate actions despite each individual's physical limitations.
The self-destruction plan must be executed. The senior scientists must evacuate the complex.
ZONE L.O.S.T. Demo - Hotfix #4 (v0.1.7)Hey everyone,Thank you for all the reports and clips about stutters and freezes - this update is built from them. Hotfix #5 is all about optimization: the game should run smoother, especially in co-op and while using voice chat.Smoother gameplay- Fixed small stutters that some of you had about once every second.- Fixed co-op sessions where players would stop seeing each other for a while. If you still see this, please let us know.- The game now does less work in the background, so you should get a steadier frame rate in Level 1.Voice chat- Voice chat is lighter and causes fewer stutters while you talk.- Voice now works better with more types of microphones, including some Realtek ones.- Other players' mouths now move the way your own does when they talk.- Normal talking is now heard by monsters as normal speech, not as shouting. Shouting is still...

The biggest fixes: players getting stuck on the ground after a knockdown (especially after the Grow gun), monsters running at about half their intended speed, and the blue screen on Intel graphics. Graphics- Intel graphics (Iris Xe, UHD and similar): turned off a rendering feature that did not work correctly on these GPUs. The game should now start and draw the level normally.- Performance: the lamp optimizer works again on the level - distant lamps and lamps behind you (including flickering ones) are switched off together with their shadows. Getting up after a knockdown- Fixed players sometimes not being able to get up with Space, no matter what they did.- Fixed getting stuck on the ground after being hit with the Grow gun (the ceiling c...

Demo - Hotfix #2.2 (v0.1.5)Hey everyone,Quick fix for the blue screen some of you saw: the level was not drawn at all (you could only see items and monsters), mostly on PCs where the Low graphics preset gets picked automatically. Thank you for the screenshots! - Fixed the blue screen / invisible level on all graphics presets.- Fixed black edges around the lobby mirror at a render scale below 100%. If you had the blue screen, just update and restart the game. The ZONE L.O.S.T. team

Multiplayer- Fixed doors snapping back when a client let go of them: a door you pull open as a client now stays where you left it for everyone.- Fixed mousetraps not triggering correctly in co-op. The ZONE L.O.S.T. team
Read full update on Steam ↗ZONE L.O.S.T. Demo - Hotfix #2 (v0.1.2)Hey everyone,Thank you for playing the demo, for streaming it and for every bug report. This round is about performance, Level 1 and the monsters: you told us the game could run smoother and that the monsters had swung too far the other way after Hotfix #1. We also fixed a number of things you found in co-op. Details below. Performance- New graphics presets in Options > Graphics: Low / Medium / High / Custom. The default is picked by your video memory.- Low renders at 70% resolution scale with shadows off, Medium at 85% with soft shadows reduced, High at 100%. On our test PC the lobby runs about twice as fast on Low.- Maps are now built from static objects: wall decorations and posters are plain props without physics, the partitions between desks are gone, tables are static, and lamps flicker the same for everyone without extra network traffic.-...
Read full update on Steam ↗ZONE L.O.S.T. Demo - Hotfix #1 (v0.1.1)Hey everyone,Thank you for playing the demo and for every single bug report. This is our first big round of fixes and balance changes, based directly on what you sent us through the in-game form and on Discord. Monsters were too strong, co-op had rough edges, and falling over felt bad. All of that is addressed below. MonstersWe heard you: the monsters were too strong and seemed to always know where you were. We have reworked how they spot, hear and chase you. Spawning- Monsters now appear only after the first lever or door of the level has been opened. No more waiting for you at the spawn door. Patrol- Walking speed 1.5 -> 0.6, alert speed 1.5 -> 1, chase speed 3.7 -> 2.7.- Vision reduced from 31 m / 62 degrees to 6 m / 90 degrees.- Detection now resets after 3 seconds out of sight (before: 5).- After losing sight of you, it runs to the last plac...
