No, it's not your first day.
Single-player, survival cosmic horror, in the SCP universe. Manage limited resources, survive all-new anomalies, reset your memory, and explore the forgotten depths of the Antimemetics Division.
You are an Archivist, a Class-D convict working in Data Retention at the SCP Foundation’s newest research facility. It’s probably 1976, but Amnestic drugs are designed to reset your memories, so that’s just a guess.
Site-48 sits empty. If there was a containment breach of Antimemetic anomalies, would you even remember?
Antimemetic Data Retention is a program designed to try and keep track of ideas and research that do their best to erase themselves from perception and memory. Unthinkables.
How can you study something if you don’t remember it exists? Your job is to see things the universe doesn’t want you to see, though this eventually leads to a condition known as "Conceptual Burnout."
Explore Site-48, original home of the Antimemetics Division, otherwise known as "the Unthinkables."
Survive reality-bending encounters with the echoes of recently erased personnel.
Collect retro-analog SCP tech to sterilize Burnouts, repel predatory Anomalies, and survive this containment breach.
Take memory-wiping Amnestics to heal your own burnout, and use the experimental Mnestic Rebreather Mask to investigate forgotten concepts and reveal hidden artifacts.
Track down and incinerate dangerous Cognitohazards to earn facility Credits.
Solve Tactile Puzzles, manage an unstable power grid, and do whatever it takes to avoid burnout.

NextFest was great, and the Discord saw a good amount of bugs that have mostly been addressed. Report more bugs! https://discord.gg/QWuMEYM6Ah Also, Unreal 5.8 came out, and I experimented with the "performance improvements" of Lumen Lite, potentially a huge upgrade for lower-spec computers? A 5.8 build actually went live for a few minutes, until I did a side-by-side comparison and learned the 5.8 version was performing WORSE than 5.7. Curious. It probably means the irradiance probes save me a trivial amount of GPU, but cost a significant amount of CPU.In the process of testing 5.8, I also tested the new Medium setting on a gen 1 Steam Deck, and was pleased to see acceptable framerates with software raytracing enabled. The game should now default to lowest settings when running on SteamDeck. I'll look into the full SteamDeck certification after a little more testing. Feature Add: Ther...
Read full update on Steam ↗Discord link! https://discord.gg/QWuMEYM6Ah Thanks for playing the SCP: Antimemetics Division demo! I've patched a few times per day, so here is what most of them contained. Storage is now open! The force-field around Storage was added to streamline the demo, but in reality it left players with a full inventory and no good place to convert it to credits. Storage has the second Reclamation Terminal, which actually used to be the only one, before another was added in the Warehouse. There is a shadow creature in Storage that has gotten loose, but fortunately it does not deal damage. Yet. it tends to scare the crap out of me, being physics-based, but the jury is out on if I can control it enough for the full game. Minor redesign: Hazards are now "Remnants." I debated calling the collectible items "Cognitohazards" or "Infohazards," so instead was just calling them "Hazards." Now they are "...
