About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

The sun was stolen. Only he is left.

A dark mage has sealed the sun inside an amulet, and Lucida has sunk into darkness. Iskra wakes up in the royal dungeon with no memories and an execution waiting — all for her red hair. Beside her stands an oil lamp, and inside it lives a tiny flame. Chatty, curious and terribly lonely. Iskra gives him a name: Svetik.

Your best friend

Svetik lights your way, blinds your enemies, and finds keys and hidden caches. He's kind, funny and always by your side.

If he misses a key lying in plain sight, he "just didn't notice" .

If he fails to blind an enemy at the worst moment, he "just got tired" .

Try not to upset him — he "gets offended" . And an offended light might go out.

Respect his personal space, too: he has secrets of his own .

He's alive, after all. He's your friend. All he asks is one thing — trust him .

Every word matters

Svetik remembers how you treat him. Trust him, give in to him, or keep him on a tight leash — every choice has consequences, and perfect balance doesn't exist. There's no trust meter: only the way he talks, the way he shines and the way he acts. Three paths. Multiple endings.

Light is a weapon

Near light pushes back the darkness around Iskra.

The far beam blinds enemies, burns creatures and opens light locks — but it overheats.

The flash  is your last resort against what hides in your shadow.

Iskra's sword takes care of the rest.

A world without sun

Escape the royal dungeon, cross the forest and the Spider Thicket, descend into the old canals, relight the lamps of a dead city and reach the castle of the mage Gleb. Every place has its own people, requests and secrets: a blind boy lost in the slums, a lamplighter with no fire, a keeper who catches little lights in jars…

Grow stronger — together

Warmth comes not from kills but from deeds: lit lanterns, found caches, people saved. Skill points are shared — invest in Iskra (Endurance, Strength, Mastery) or in Svetik (Might, Insight, Bond). But Svetik's skills only work while he shines for you … Relics from side stories grant special powers. And if you're lucky, Svetik might show you his book.

Remember the living light.
