In Last Chance: Birth , you experience the life of residents of Academia, students and professors alike. Through casual puzzles , you will learn how to cast spells, craft potions, enchant artifacts and much more!
In Last Chance: Birth, you will receive grades for each puzzle you solve. Getting good grades? Professors will congratulate you! Struggling or giving back a blank copy? Well, deal with the scolding! Scenes and dialogs change based on your performance! But worry not: you will not remain stuck even if your grades a getting low!
What would a magic school be without a plethora of secrets and hidden passages? Academia holds many mysteries! Perhaps some of them require you to get good at certain magic skills... It's time to study!

Update to version 1.0.0 - Steam Next Fest Preview
Greetings fellow students of Academia! A new version of the demo has been pushed in preparation for Steam Next Fest that starts tomorrow! Here is a full list of changes applied since the previous patch:When restarting a new game directly after finishing the demo, some underlying data was being kept, causing several issues in the new save.The player's movement speed has been increased by ~22%.Added an indicator on the lift menu for the current floor.The current objective on the lift menu is now more explicit.Added a quest step to make the function of the clock lift clearer.Updated the labeling of the "basement" to a more explicit label in the last quest of the demo.I'm happy to share with you what should be the last demo version before the full release of the game in October!Regards,Maxah, from the Living Flame Creations team.

The following changes were added in version 0.8.2 of the Last Chance: Birth demo:Edited camera position during the scene after the Spellcasting class to illustrate the purpose of the giant clock (which is a lift)Added a few NPCs wandering in the Auditorium prior to Professor Zash's lecture to guide the player across the room.Fixed a few English and French typos.The timer during the Extraction puzzles is now more readable on black backgrounds.The mouse cursor is now hidden while playing with a supported controller.
