    Patch news!

Hey everyone, Early Access is wrapping up!We experimented with a few new hazard mechanics recently, but they honestly just made the game too frustrating. We feel the difficulty is currently at a nice sweet spot, so we decided to leave the core gameplay as it is.The last thing we felt the game really needed was an achievement system. That will be included in our 1.0 patch, which is coming out later this month. While our Early Access player base wasn't huge, you all helped us find and squash a bunch of bugs. If any new issues pop up after 1.0 drops, we'll jump on them right away.A massive thank you to everyone who bought the game and supported us up to this point. We hope you enjoy the full release.

    Patch notes - November

New movement controls: New Sheepdog Control OptionAfter much consideration, we’ve added a new way to control your sheepdog!Previously, you could move your sheepdog by clicking and dragging its token, with movement speed determined by how far you dragged before releasing. To address this, we’re introducing an optional full-screen control mode. You can now click anywhere on the screen to direct your sheepdog. The movement speed still depends on how far you drag your mouse, but you no longer need to click close to the dog. This feature is optional — you can toggle between Restricted Movement and Free Movement directly from the main screen. We’d love to hear what you think about this change! Join the discussion on our Discord \https://discord.gg/MQ2jyc4cvR] and share your feedback.Content: added two NEW MAPS to the map carousel used to procedurally generate the game trail.

    Patch notes 01/10/2025

Quality of life: added a RESTART BUTTON to options menu during gameplay. Sorry, this should have been there from the start!Gameplay mechanics: changed dog behaviour when colliding with objects. Dog now bounces off walls and objects instead of stopping and 'staring' at player. This should stop people from getting stuck on things. Content: added two NEW MAPS to the map carousel used to procedurally generate the game trail.Fixed: wolf den location outside of map borders. Engine update to Godot 4.5: without getting too technical, the result is more efficient tilemaps.Don't forget our new discord channel is up and running.
