About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

An auto-battler on wheels

Farm & Drive is a chaotic party game on one fenced farm. Up to four farm trucks race around behind shut gates. They cut crops for coins and ram each other, while the crew riding on the truck bed fight the rivals on their own.

Between rounds you shop for crew. Between crashes you watch them work. The last team with a truck still in the match wins.

Drive, ram, harvest

During a round you only steer. Everything else comes from where you drive.

Drive through ripe crops to cut them. Your load piles up on the truck bed.

Ram a rival to spill their load across the farm. Anyone can grab it.

When the bell rings, every truck sells what it carries. Coins in the bank are safe. Crops on the bed are not.

Build a crew that fights for you

After each round the market opens. Spend your coins on crew and seat them on your truck.

27 crew members , from the Slingshot Kid and Grandma with her crossbow to the Rodeo Queen and her lasso.

Fighters and helpers. Fighters shoot, smash and trap rivals. Helpers harvest, plant crops, speed up the truck or cover the load.

Big skills. Every crew member also has a big skill on a longer timer: rapid fire, rocket barrages, bee clouds, sticky cider puddles and more.

Three of a kind makes a star. Collect copies to star up your crew and make them much stronger.

10 traits. Mix crew from the same origin or class to switch on bonuses: Cropland, Town, Orchard and Ranch, plus Farmer, Gunner, Brute, Hauler, Prankster and Mechanic.

21 items. Grab components in pickup rounds and loot crates, then combine two into an item.

Ribbons

Three times a match, the market deals you three Ribbon cards. Pick one, and it changes how your build plays for the rest of the match. It might boost a trait, give you a free crew member or pay you gold every round. There are 42 Ribbons in Silver, Gold and the rare Blue. Not a fit? Reroll a card once for free.

A bigger truck is a bigger target

Buy XP to level your truck up to level 10. Each level gives it a longer bed, more seats and more room for cargo. It also makes it heavier and slower. More crew and harder rams, but a bigger target that turns worse. You decide when that trade is worth it.

Your health lasts the whole match

Your truck has one health bar for the whole match, and it never refills. Every hit a rival lands counts until the end. A truck at zero is knocked out, but it is not gone: it drives on as a slow scarecrow ghost that can still bump and block the trucks that put it there.

Every wave is a little different

Wave events change the crops, the farm or the rules for one round. Power-ups and hazards turn up on the farm. You always see the next wave before it starts, so you can plan your shopping around it.

Play with friends or bots

1 to 4 players online with Steam invites or a lobby code.

Up to four teams: free for all, 2 v 2 or 3 v 1. Friendly fire is your call.

Bots fill any empty seat , and they play by the same rules you do. No bonus speed, money or damage.

Solo: jump straight into a match against three bots, and take as long as you like in the shop.

A match takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

Fair from the first wave

Every match starts equal. No crew, item, level or Ribbon carries from one match to the next. What you build in a match is what you win with.
