In Iron Stars , lead a growing spacefaring civilization through star systems inspired by real astronomy. Explore planets and moons shaped by gravity, atmosphere, temperature, habitability, resources, and their place within each system.
Build an empire through industry. Develop fertile planets into population centers, establish mining colonies on barren worlds, and extract fuel and volatiles from icy moons. Even hostile environments can become essential to your civilization’s growth.
Watch your galaxy come alive. Civilian ships travel between colonized planets and cross interstellar space using FTL. Mining stations dispatch small ships to work nearby asteroids, while freighters carry physical goods between colonies.
Shape trade and diplomacy. Use tariffs to influence imports, impose sanctions on rival empires, and support domestic industry. Form federations whose members vote on economic restrictions and join one another’s wars.
As your civilization expands, decide where to settle, how to specialize each world, and how to balance industry, logistics, military strength, and diplomatic commitments.
Iron Stars is a game about scale, planning, and transforming hostile space into a civilization of your own.
