Become a mercenary on the barely explored fringes of space, where luck can matter more than money or rank. To survive on the Frontier, you'll need a trusted crew, dependable gear, and a knack for choosing the right allies when you need them.
Out here, your crew is all you've got. Alice is a jack-of-all-trades. She practically lives in the engine room, making sure the ship doesn't fall apart. Rob is a man of his word. He’s keeping the corvette on course and making sure you don't crash on landing. And Khan plans the missions. He knows more than the rest of you put together, and is always ready to share some hard-earned wisdom. Together, you'll have to uncover where the strange sentient crystal came from, and what secrets it's hiding.
UNCOVER THE CRYSTAL'S SECRETS
Step into the shoes of Jay. He’s a simple courier in the Epsilon Sector, where a long-running war has only just come to an end. Lawlessness runs rampant, factions are fighting for influence, and abandoned military bases are hiding countless secrets.
At the heart of it all is a symbiote crystal bound to Jay. Your decisions shape the courier's personality, while the crystal learns from him and adopts his view of the world. Your choices can change individual events, open new story branches, and determine how the story ends.
PLAN YOUR ACTIONS
Take on space pirates, mercenaries, and corporates in turn-based combat. Use cover, high ground, and other objects on the battlefield to gain advantages, avoid penalties, and unlock additional actions. When your squad is outmatched, unleash powerful abilities to turn the tide.
Every battle is a fresh challenge! The environment, enemy lineups, and objects on the battlefield change from fight to fight, so there’s no single strategy that will work every time.
EXPLORE THE EPSILON SECTOR
Explore a universe shaped by players over more than 15 years of tabletop RPG campaigns. Travel to planets untouched by human footsteps, gather resources and credits, and deliver them to factions to build your reputation. Decide who you want on your side, and who you’re better off staying away from.
STRENGTHEN YOUR CREW
Surviving alone on the Frontier is no easy feat. Develop your crew's skills, unlock new abilities, and keep their equipment up to date.
