Familiar combat with plenty of surprises. Easy to learn for new players as well as fans of the genre, while breaking the mold in unpredictable ways. Mix 'n match different parts of each card to create the ideal spell to get you out of a pickle!
Become the Wisest Wizard. Experiment with a myriad of cards, sigils, and characters to become the ultimate magic wielder. Rewards, events, and the shopkeeper all offer potential expansions to your build.

Unlock content as you play. Your destiny is foretold in the Skymap! Unlock new cards and characters by spending currency you win by getting as far as possible.
Handcrafted dungeon synth playlist. These underground halls reverberate with the nostalgic soundscape of 90s fantasy synthesizers. We cooked it ourselves!

Greetings fellow wizardkin,We've just launched a chunky update to the Demo. This update contains a couple of months worth of changes and new features we made during the Playtest. Events and shops have been overhauled, Potions are now carried around and a new monster stalks you through the Wishing Well.In addition to that, Sigils can be upgraded through elite fights in world 3. We've improved most of the UI as well. Overall, this update should reflect what the true Bibidi experience is a lot better now.If you want to play the whole game before it comes out, NOW is your last chance to check out the free playtest. All we ask in return is to give us feedback on the final world of the game!Changes🪄 FeaturesNew Shops: Two new shops are available as Secret Passageways. Read full update on Steam ↗Greetings fellow wizardkin,Daan & Jonas here with an update! First, we want to say thanks everyone for supporting us through Next Fest and beyond. We've had a decent influx of new players and a load of new feedback, some of which we address in this update! We did a big pass on optimization, so the game should play a lot smoother, especially for people with older machines. Emphasis on should: we don't have a wide range of machines to test on, so please let us know if you run into any issues! The rest of the patch is mostly quality of life features y'all requested a bunch. We finally got around to doing some of those.Ponder the OrbOther than that, we changed the Skymap so now it feels like you're PONDERING THE ORB. This is one of the ongoing efforts of making the game feel more wizardy and immersive while we're heading towards release.Other Changes🍹 Quality of LifePreview Conjured cards...
Read full update on Steam ↗Greetings fellow wizardkin,Jonas & Daan here with a small update right before Next Fest! Daan managed to squeeze in a handful of minor bug fixes and visual glitches, so everything feels just a bit nicer. Jonas improved some art here and there, including most notably, the final boss! (of the demo) It's really ugly and disgusting, but we won't spoil anything so go see it for yourself, if you dare! Here are the major changes we made this patch.🍹 Quality of Life Improved feedback on hovering over card parts and spell slots.More predictable order of spell effects.Game Settings where you can reset progress or tutorials. Automatically view rewards when unlocking something in the Skymap.More readability improvements. 🐞 Major Bugs Fixed exploit where you could destroy cards to gain Sigils over your limit.Fixed visual glitches related to destroying or upgrading cards.Various bug fixes related...
Read full update on Steam ↗Greetings fellow wizardkin, Wow, this one took a while! So what have we been up to? Essentially, we've heard two pieces of recurring feedback that we're tried to nip in the bud: The basic cards are not creative enough to make cool spells. There's not enough synergy combos to make interesting builds. We've stuck around with simple shield, card draw and damage spells for a long time and now felt like the right moment to expand that toolkit. However, any mechanic that's in the basic reward pool needs to be easy to explain and very well-balanced. To come up with something that's fun, original and wizardy but also doesn't upset the game design too much was not an simple task! We took some time to experiment and ended up with two new mechanics: Shrink and Magnetize. Both of them are debuffs you can apply to enemies. Shrink allows you to mitigate damage by temporarily lowering a monster's attac...
Read full update on Steam ↗Greetings fellow wizardkin, We're proud to present the Afflicted Apprentice Update! (v0.08.00) In this one, we've added a new playable character, Oppipi the Untried. He's a tiny guy with a big heart and a haunted past. He carries around a little scroll that can fit only a single card, but man does that card pack a punch! You can unlock him by somehow getting Cursed during a run. Ooooh spooky! In addition to that, we've also put in a bunch of new effects, cards and sigils. There's some really funky new synergies that make you crazy powerful. 🪄 New Features • New Playable Character: Oppipi the Untried. This Afflicted Apprentice is unlocked if you managed to get Cursed in a run. • Curse: New effect that adds negative Boons to your cards. • Purge: New effect that removes all Curses, Lock and Brittle from cards. • New effects that interact with your different card Piles. 🃏 Content • New...
Read full update on Steam ↗Greeting fellow wizardfolk, Daan here with a quick patch!Fixed a bug where the tooltip for Handy does not explain when Handy is triggered. (It’s when you keep it in your hand until the end of turn btw.) Added a Share Feedback button with a link to a survey. We need all the feedback we can get!We made a little survey you can take directly from the game. We realized it takes quite a lot of social friction to join our Discord just in order to share feedback. This is quick and anonymous, so hopefully it will help you feel more comfortable sending us your critique. Happy casting!
Read full update on Steam ↗Greetings fellow Wizardfolk!Happy new year to all! In this Skymap Update (v0.07.00), hopefully the first of many this year, we're aiming to combat the most recurring piece of feedback that we get: replayability! For this we take a two-pronged approach.First, we've implemented a permanent progression system: the Skymap. In the Skymap you can find challenges and quests that unlock new content, like spell cards and Sigils. Once you've completed a quest, those cards will then potentially be available in the reward pool in future runs. As you complete quests, more and more quests are revealed in turn, so you always have a new goal to hunt down. The other approach is challenge. The game was far too easy. We spent a significant amount of time on balancing it to increase the difficulty. It feels a lot more rewarding to actually do well and a lot more clutch if you're about to fail. That being...
Read full update on Steam ↗Greetings fellow Wizardfolk! In this Eventful Update (v0.06.00), we're breathing some adventure into the dungeon. We've added events to the game. These are non-combat encounters you can run into while exploring the dungeon. They will seem familiar to veteran roguelike deckbuilder players, but even for them there will be some surprises. In addition to that, we've addedsome highly requested features related to deck management. Check out the full list of changes below.🪄 New Features🚪 Events: 10+ new non-combat encounters you can run into. Explore different options for surprising outcomes!🃏 Deck Thinning: Buy the Potion of Forgetting in the shop, or run into a secret event and sacrifice a card. 💫 Sigil Management: There is now a sigil limit to your spellbook. Make tactical choices to replace your old Sigils with new, better ones. ♣️ Reworked Deck Shuffling: The discard pile is only shuf...
Read full update on Steam ↗Greetings fellow wizardfolk, The Doors Update (v0.05.00) is out and with that:Path Selection is Here!Another core feature of deckbuilders has now made it into the game! This time, we've added path selection. But instead of the classic map with routes that you've come to expect from roguelike deckbuilders, we opt for something a little simpler...In most deckbuilders you have a route-based map (e.g. in Slay the Spire), where you can see all available routes well in advance. But why is that the common way to do it?First off, you can balance risk and reward when everything is visible at a glance. From the get-go, you can decide to take a path with a lot of events, shops and rest sites to mitigate your health attrition. Conversely, you can pick a path with a bunch of elite encounters to maximize your rewards. So why DON'T we use it then? One reason is mental load. Combat in Bibidi Bibidi is...
