The Pro Range is aimed toward the serious train simulation enthusiast looking for a complex machine to master. Each product is designed to provide education and entertainment for users. Xbox controller and HUD interface support do not come as standard and users will need to read the accompanying documentation to fully understand the operation of this advanced simulation.
Take the regulator of one of British Railways’ great heavy-freight locomotives with the BR Standard 9F 2-10-0 from Victory Works, now ready for duty in Train Simulator Classic.
Recreating all 221 standard-boiler members of the class, this detailed add-on spans the 9F’s British Railways service and its preserved life. Explore early and later BR liveries in clean and weathered condition, alongside single- and double-chimney locomotives, the Consett air-pump variants, the Lickey Banker, Giesel chimney and mechanical-stoker configurations. Preserved favourites include 92220 Evening Star and 92214, with a choice of tenders and optional fittings to bring further variety to the fleet.
Whether you prefer a straightforward drive or the challenge of managing a powerful steam locomotive, three driving modes offer an experience to suit you. In Advanced Mode, realistic wheelslip, steam-chest behaviour, cylinder cocks, injector control, boiler priming, detailed braking and shovel-by-shovel firing all demand your attention. Custom sounds, dynamic steam effects and a fully detailed cab add to the atmosphere.
Put the 9F to work in five included scenarios across the Weardale & Teesdale Network and Riviera Line in the Fifties routes. Tackle a heavy coal working, rescue a passenger service, take charge of the Torbay Express and more. With 35-ton Class A and B tank wagons and 56 Quick Drive consists also included, there are plenty of opportunities to put this hard-working locomotive through its paces.
A selection of five engaging Career scenarios is included:
Weardale & Teesdale Network Route Add-On
9F. 1] Powering the Brickworks
9F. 2] More coal to Penrith
9F. 3] Diesel Replacement Service
Riviera Line in the Fifties: Exeter - Kingswear Route Add-On

Please Note: Weardale & Teesdale Network Route Add-On and Riviera Line in the Fifties: Exeter - Kingswear Route Add-On are required, as separate purchases, to play their respective scenarios. Both routes are needed to play all five included scenarios.
More scenarios are available on the Steam Workshop online and in-game. Train Simulator’s Steam Workshop scenarios are free and easy to download, adding many more hours of exciting gameplay. With scenarios being added daily, why don’t you check it out now!
