Ballerspiel is a fast, loud, colorful first- and third-person shooter in a comic look. Up to 64 players - plus up to 64 bots - fight across eight maps with pistols, shotguns, rocket launchers, a flamethrower, a shrink ray and, yes, an atomic bomb. Walls crumble, cars explode, and somewhere a clown is breakdancing in the rubble.
Battle Royale - solo, no respawns, a closing storm. The first minute is a grace period: everyone is invisible and invulnerable, so you can grab a weapon before the shooting starts.
Ballerball - two teams, one heavy ball, two goals. Shoot the ball into the enemy goal - explosions hit it hardest. After every goal, the goal moves. Hit the ball too hard and it goes nuclear.
Clown-Off - a dance battle with guns. Dance, breakdance, cartwheel and fart in front of your rivals or in the spotlight to score. Chain different moves into combos - but die mid-combo and you lose it, and your killer takes half.
Free-for-All, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag - the classics, on every map.
Almost everything in Ballerspiel can be shot to pieces: fences, trees, barrels, furniture, walls. Bullets leave holes, explosions tear things apart - and only the atomic bomb is big enough to flatten whole houses, leaving a radioactive cloud behind.
16 vehicles - jump in, run your rivals over, honk at everyone else.
Loot boxes with power-ups: infinite ammo, infinite grenades, infinite stamina, double health, double armor, invulnerability and invisibility. Different power-ups stack, the same one extends.
Shrink ray and expander - make your opponents tiny, or turn them into giants. Bounce an expander shot off a wall and hit yourself to become the giant - cars bounce off giants.
Morning, noon, afternoon, evening, night - and apocalypse. Clear, cloudy, fog or rain. Every map can be played in any of them.
Every weapon has its own skill level, and so do your health, armor, grenades and movement. Each level adds a little more precision, damage and blast radius. The server you play on remembers your levels.
Online - find a match in the server browser, play on our official dedicated servers, or host your own game.
Crossplay - Steam and Epic Games Store players play together, on our servers and in games hosted by either side.
Your own server - run a dedicated server for your community with your own map rotation.
LAN - works without any internet connection. Direct connect by IP is built in.
Offline - play against up to 64 bots. Bots have names, levels and a memory; they drive vehicles, fight for the flag and clown around.
Kill streaks are announced (in English or German), the leader wears a crown, and every clown can fart on command. One-time purchase - updates are free, and there are no in-game purchases.
Steam currently lists 31 Oct 2026 as the release date.
