About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Build your own crosshair. See it in every game.

Crosshair Overlay is a crosshair studio for Windows. Shape a crosshair with sliders or draw it pixel by pixel, animate it, and it sits in the exact centre of your screen while you play. Xbox Game Bar draws it.

Two editors

Crosshair Editor : for crosshairs made of lines, a centre and an outline.

Six starting shapes: classic, dot, circle, square, cross + dot and fully custom

Every arm has its own length, thickness and offset, and can be switched off for T-shapes and three-arm crosshairs

A centre dot, circle, square or polygon, filled or hollow

One colour or a colour per part, with outline, rotation and opacity

Pixel Editor : for crosshairs drawn by hand.

Grids up to 128 × 128 with pencil, eraser, fill, colour picker, selection and line tools

Mirror drawing across either axis, pixel scale and an optional 1 px outline

Turn any slider-made crosshair into pixels with one click and keep editing

Both editors have undo and redo, a real-size preview on dark, light, checkered or custom backgrounds, and a "Live on overlay" switch that shows your edits on screen as you make them.

Animation Studio

Keyframes for slider-made crosshairs: animate size, thickness, gap, rotation, opacity, position, scale, colour, dot size and line length, with five easing curves

Frame by frame for pixel crosshairs, with onion skinning, a frame strip you can reorder, and Blink, Fade, Kick and Flash templates to start from

A crosshair holds up to 32 animations. One can play automatically, and each can have its own hotkey

Animation hotkeys can be mouse buttons: bind one to left click and the crosshair kicks every time you fire

A library that stays organised

12 ready-made crosshairs to use or take apart

Search by name, tag or type, and star your favourites

Global hotkeys

Show, hide or toggle the crosshair, step to the next or previous one, apply the one you selected, pause its animation. Every action takes any key combination or mouse button and works while a game has focus. If another program already owns a combination, the app says so instead of failing silently.

Out of your way

Lives in the system tray and can start with Windows, already hidden

Redraws only when something changes, so it sits idle while you play

The crosshair lands on the exact centre of the screen, and you can nudge it pixel by pixel for games that aim somewhere else

No account, no ads, no telemetry

How it gets on screen

The crosshair is shown by a small Xbox Game Bar widget. Game Bar is part of Windows, and the widget only displays the picture the app hands it. The app does not read or write any game's memory, inject code, hook into graphics, or send keys or clicks.

Some games and tournaments forbid crosshair overlays in their rules, however they are made. Check the rules of the games you play.
